Just thought I would post to say hello really. I have sold my MR2 rev 3 a few months back due to an addition to the family (lack of seats) and since then I have been driving to and from work in a polo. I have always liked the style of the 300's and have now decided to set about buying one. However my knowledge on these cars is limited at its best. Obviously there is the LWB and SWB non turbo and turbo. Ideally I would of liked the turbo, but since my daily commute is 40 miles to and then 40 miles from work I think this rules out the TT. Granted 39 miles of the journey to work is motorway so maybe the TT performs reasonably well at a constant motorway speed? I have been …

sometimes my dipstick keeps coming out by about 5mm doesnt do it all the time i think mainly when cold bit not sure on this. what can cause this

I called out the air con regassing bloke today. He's a nice bloke and has worked on my cars in the past. Firstly we found that the 10A air con fuse had gone. simple, just swapped it with the fuse for the horn and we're away. He has got the car hooked up to his monitor and it is working nicely, got the air temp down to 8 degrees. Then he looks at the sub fan (in front of the normal rad) which should have kicked in by now to make sure the system doesn't get too pressurised and it's not working. After a bit of fiddling about we found that this does work when it is hard-wired, it seems that whatever circuits are supposed to tell it to come on are not working! …

Anyone know where i can get some clear braided hosese from? Saw a car in Max Power with them on, looked quite funky....it was an R32 with a 350z engine....

Looking at quite a few Z pictures, lots og you have got metal air intake pipes with ncie silicon joining pipes I know that metal pipes would keep the air colder (ones that run from the intake along side the engine) but as its that near the engine, wont it get hot Who does these pipes and how much do they cost (someone is selling a whole kit with induction bit on ebay lol)

hello, i have just installed a JDM 99. You ll see below the picture before and after. The problem is.... on the old fascia (picture 1 ) , i ve got night light and turn light in the front bloc, and the side smoke bloc was empty. I have bought the kit on courtesy parts, but it came without the front light bloc. So, i have imported fog light ( and i think it s my mistake ) from Japon. With the new fascia ( picture 2 ), the turn signal are now in the side smoke bloc but alone, without the night light, so , i need a JDM front bloc with the night light ( picture 3 ) instead of the fog light i have installed. I hope it s a bloc with night light and not fog…

If you do please let me know?

is it possible that the autobox could let off smoke when i drive hard? that's the only other thing i can think that's smoking under my bonnet! apart from that midget i keep under there...

Well I think I found my boost leak last night which pleased me as I'm about to fit a boost gauge. What I need to know is do I still need the boost sensor if I'm not going to use the factory boost gauge. Next question is, I have a swoosh boost gauge and the instructions don't state which wire is live and nuetral, black or white, anyone know? Cheers Scrawn.

Went out in car for a ride tonight and have had a problem :( selecting the lower gears when changing down, so i had a checked the slave cylinder and no leaks on the bottom, tried to bleed the system through( have had a problem a few weeks ago with air in the system) and i got nothing but air coming through and no fluid at all(reservoir is full). And now i have no clutch at all which is no good as i am suppose to be going on holiday in it early sat morning :headvswal . Which is the most likely cause to be the culprit slave cylinder or master cylinder or something completely different????? Help is needed fast, as time really is of the essence on this one. :ro…

ive got 3 ac autotechnic guages(volts, oil pressure, water temp) im installing them under the stereo. im wanting to know if i can use the live from the stereo to power all 3 guages and also use the same earth as the stereo. if not where is the easiest place to take a live feed from? also, can i splice into the original water temp sender and run both the original guage and the new one at the same time from the original sender? any advice much apreciated si

Are the TT and N/A oxy sensors the same? Also is there any option of aftermarket o2 sensors? Ive heard some banter about wide band sensors but no idea what they are / how they would fit in to a zed

can someone send me a diagram of how to remove this.... i took off the one bolt but nothing happened... also a " stupids " guide to how to and what to cap off for the pipe.... i have the full front end stripped down at the moment so access is kinda easy.... decided since i wasnt gonna get my money for the car i would make it a propper drift car..../ road going on occasions when my back is well. also any links to superchargers in the states.. gonna ask family to send me parts....... cheers... After idling for about 10+mins the zed begins to smoke (embarrassingly quite alot) mainly from the right side but a little from the left. Its definately oil coz its blue... it always clears up after a quick blast up the road and doesnt smoke whilst driving, even when at full boost and coming off the power... so to clarify, it only smokes after being left on idle for a while... any ideas? any1 know where the breathers are on these?
