Hi guys just wondering if anyone could give some advise, When i put the car in reverse and start reversing the car judders as its moving and if you get to a slope it doesnt want to know, it will just rev and stay still or sometimes it will grip all of a sudden and slingshot the car backwards but it just doesnt sound right. i looked at the gearbox fluid level and it was low but this has all been topped up now and still no change. im hoping its not gonna need a gearbox rebuild. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am looking at buying a zed, its a uk spec, 130000 miles on the clock but has had a full rebluid. Everything seems fine engine wise but when looking under the car, by both the doors, the under part of the seals seem quite rusty. Is this something to be really bothered about and could anyone give me any advice. Cheers

The seal on the drivers side removable targa top is making the drivers side window pop out. At high speed i get a loud whistling noise and water gets inside with heavy rain. Anything i can do with the warped seal or should i get a new one?

Anyone changed them before? Front ones not a prob, its a standard bearing and easily avalible. But the rear bearing isnt that easy. Its specifically made for alternators. Just wondered if anyone has done these before and got hold of them.

my insurance on my zed was coming up for renewal. Did a search here and started phoneing round, ended up at A-plan (01635 874646) and saved £300 on my adrian flux renewal quote. Friendly staff, helpful AND cheap quote with decent cover! If your insurance is due cant hurt to try them!

Can't get my reverse lights to work for love nor money :mac1: The only thing I can think of is that I have mistakenly plugged the neutral position sensor or reverse switch in each others place? Is this possible or are the connectors idiot proof! Cheers

You were heading North as I was going South. I was playing with the GPS and only noticed you flash out of the corner of my eye, I waved out of the window though.

Any ideas chaps? Got in the Z this morning, started her up, and tried to put it in reverse(manual box). No joy, can't move the gearstick any further back than neutral. 1st 3rd and 5th work fine, but it feels like theres something blocking 2nd 4th and reverse. About a month ago, I had a new clutch fitted. Just wondering if maybe something (the gate or whatever) has come loose and is interfering with the shift.. Anybody had anything similar? got any ideas?

What is the best price you can get these at and do they wire straight in or is the loom different? Anyone got these and then put HID's on main beam too? Chris

Haven taken best part of Sunday to remove the intake manifold and the heads. What a horrible fiddly job!!!! In order to replace the head gasket. Is it worth replacing the valves with uprated ones, and the injectors, As checking the condition of the injectors on removal, they all seem to be corrided, and brittle. When removing the parts, under the intake manifold, found it bloody hard work to get to most of them. is there anyway of bypassing any of the pipes to make installation easier.

Always a bit of a worry! But as usual, it's a Nissan, rear disks and pads, inner front track rods, new front springs (optional, fed up with it scraping along the ground, might help the crap camber!). Sorted £400, another years driving, ain't Nissans so reliable? Unless you .uck about with them take them to 'expert tuning houses' that know how to improve on Nissans original spec!

Hi Guys My car is giving me trouble and it's really strange. I drove to Plymouth on Friday and the car overheated 4 times. Yeah I know what you are thinking, why did I carry on driving. Well I'm sure I know what the problem is. Where the cap fits onto the rad the plastic has worn away and the cap doesn't fix on properly. So when she gets hot the pressure must force up the cap and the water is getting out there. So I just kept stopping at certain intervals and letting her cool down before I topped her up again. Anyway I thought that I would drive back in the middle of the night to avoid traffic and the heat. On the way back she didn't over heat onc…

Hi, i have steam coming from the drivers side of the engine, the leak must be higher than the manifold/turbo as i can hear it drip on them, any ideas what i could be please? And if its the plenum hoses, can you bypass without removing the plenum? Just had another look, and its dripping onto the turbo in line with the turbo's water feed/banjo bolt. Had to leave the car at my mums, think i'll wedge the didgy camera in and take a snap, see if that shows me anything! Thanks Steve
