Hi guys just wondering if anyone could give some advise, When i put the car in reverse and start reversing the car judders as its moving and if you get to a slope it doesnt want to know, it will just rev and stay still or sometimes it will grip all of a sudden and slingshot the car backwards but it just doesnt sound right. i looked at the gearbox fluid level and it was low but this has all been topped up now and still no change. im hoping its not gonna need a gearbox rebuild.

Sounds like the bands or clutches inside the box are slipping.
