Hi There I spose you all knew this, but until I was on the US NICO Club site just now, I just assumed that most 300's were TT's like here! Apparently no 2 + 2's were ever imported in TT form, and some US owners swapped in the TT engine. Only 2 seaters were imported in TT versions. Well Well- something we have that the Yanks dont!! Regards Dave

Did a search, but couldn't find anything and have a few questions about the centre console and ICE :) My Swiss '93 ZXTT 2+2 manual has a 90's Blaupunkt radio/cassette player in the top mounting and a Fischer cassette storage unit in the space below (don't know if this was an aftermarket thing or in from new). The cable to my boot floor mounted CD changer melted (!) after a track day, and I thought it was a good time for an upgrade. I wanted to take out the cassette storage unit (which I don't use), but there is nothing behind it but the wires of underdash space... :( Ideally, I'd like to have a centre console with one slot for the radio/CD and use the …

hi my brother just imported a r32 gts-t skyline, we checked the ecu and it's got stealth chrome badge on it and stealth seals on the lids, has anybody ever hearld of stealth? we can't find anything online.. We are assuming that any upgrades would have been done in japan! the only other mods are street stainless exhaust turbo timer, but it looks llike a brand new engine, it was owned for 7 years by the jap auction company he bought it through! but didnt get any history with it. cheers Jay

I have just sent off for my 2nd datascan serial number for my in car laptop but have just had windows die (after a few new software loads :mac1: ) . Im concerned that after i restore an image to the laptop then reinstall datascan that my serial number wont work. Will i be ok? the hardware will be the same and clearly my name and email address will be the same so will it still generate the same activation code string? If not what can i do? Pleading here as i dont want to buy another copy f the software due to an XP system failure!

This mod is as subtle as it gets, but a few have said they aren't keen. One of my big pet hates on the Zed is that horrible finish on the lower parts of the bumpers and sills. It's more noticable on dark coloured cars rather than light colours, you don't really notice on my pearl white, but I just want that even shine rather than the moddled effect. So, I am going to smooth down the bumpers as per Daves_zed. Only difference is, I am going to retain the dark pin-stripe, so it's not noticable so much, just want the lower part not to look poorly finished. I think it looks great and is only noticable to the trained eye. But doesn't stick out.

I've checked all the wires/bulbs at the back and they all seem fine. The fuse only blows when the brake is pressed but doesn't do it all the time. It will work one/two days without a problem and then blow, and on very bad days fuse after fuse, instantaneously. Any ideas what I should check for before I start stripping the whole interior out?
