Hi everyone, I have a big problem with my Zed... I am in Romania, which also means I am on my own, with nobody knowing anything about cars at all (much like me..) I had a bad problem with the car, which ended with one of the hoses to the heater matrix splitting. I thought this was ok, replace hose, refill with coolant... NOT I have been trying now for almost 3 weeks to refil the cooling system. I have read for a week on various sites about the best way to do this, and am none the wiser with my problem. I have tried parking nose up, trickle filling with engine on, and off, filling with heater set to on, and nose up, with engine running, also with engine off. Tried…

My headlamps arent working properly on the car, this could be due to the rear lights not being wired up correctly (by me :wack: ). Has anybody done this conversion and recorded where they put the wires? I have looked at it until I'm blue in the face and can't seem to get anywhere. Reverse Light comes on same thime as indicators (hazards). I cannot check indicators properly as my indicator stalk dont work. Is everything related? Have I fooked up big time? There is an auto electrician who lives at the top of my street, wonder how much he charges :p Any help guys.......please :)

Im getting round to installing my carputer in the zed and a few of the items im adding have cigeratte lighter adapters. I was wondering if i could just create like a little "busbar" from the cigertte lighter and connect them from this one power source.. Im just wondering if it is feasable or if i should try and source some other ignition switch power circuits in the car... Ref. im looking at running touchscreen power, laptop charger and maybe my usb hub from the lighter.. Thanks andy

Right, all going well, I'm going to get my Z retrimmed towards the end of the year. Now, because of the colour of my car, I think it's slightly harder to choose the colour for the interior. Whilst I am a huge fan of T-Pots, both colour scheme and piping and wanting to do a carbon copy of it, I'm thinking maybe it'll clash with the body colour of mine, so thinking maybe a light grey? But I also like Jimmer's interior. If anyone's seen it they'll know it's grey with black bolsters. Looks lovely. I'd go for a lighter grey, quite a light grey infact. But, not sure whether to having grey piping or not? Can't make up my mind. Does anyone have pics of a Z wit…

Whilst cruising in overdrive just over a 3 figure speed (at the nurburgring of course) a porsche 911 came along side for some fun. So I kicked down but the box just lost all drive to the wheels and the engine spun around to the red line leaving me red faced and wondering what TF happened. :headvswal I backed off the throttle and the drive came back with a jolt and clunk then only by smoothly pressing down on the accelerator did it behave a re-attempt to kickdown resulted in the same thing. Note I had covered about 200miles at this point car was warmed up and had driven faultlessly til then at an average 85mph cruising speed. So....... What could this be????? I am …

just ordered my new shockers from luke, wanted upper and lower arm bushes aswell but out of stock for a month. was told that my rear wheel wobble was most likely my shocks anyway. well ive taken them out and cant see how this would cause it. if anything it looks like it would be the bush in the hub the shocker connects to that would cause the prob. put the wheel back on and felt for movementwithout the shocker and its exactly the same. any ideas anybody

Hi All, I've got a tiny paint chip on bonnet where the metal underneath is exposed, but it's only about 2-3mm wide, but annoying nonetheless. Also there are a couple small scratches etc that I want rid off. Any tips on how to get these repaired. I've been looking at Paint Restorers and scratch repair kits, but not sure about these. thanks. sonix.
