I was out sprinting the Cerb' at the weekend at Thoresby Park, there was a beautifully prepared 300zx out, and putting in some very good times, was it anyone on here? Was going to come and say hello, but was a bit tied up myself. :-D Tim Photos taken from: http://www.se7enimaging.com/

Well friends it time for me to move on.After 5 years and 6 Zs things have changed for me,its been a pleasure to of been involved with this club, and over the years to of meet some great people, and real mates that have gone out of there way to help. Theres been highs and lows and then highs of Z ownership. Its been an experience I would not of missed,to say its kept me busy and on me toes would be an understatement!.Lately though I feel that the spark for me has died somewhat, reasons include my age,the Z scene in general,Donna’s illness earlier in the year, and I must admit I have slowed down.Since owning again my present Z that I first had in 2002 I have only done 700 mi…

Don't know if any of you saw a previous post by LOFTYGTR but he needed a car that looked similar to his old one for a film. Anyway I've lent my smokey zed to him as it was near identical. He drove it all the way to Brighton from Brum with no probs....apart... from the smoke of course....oh and a blowout!!! The deal is that he has a budget from the film company so in return for the lend of the car as he wont need to do much external modding the budget will go to fixing the problem. He collected the car on Sunday from my parents house. Seems like a good deal to me what do you lot think. By the way I got all his insurance docs as well as ID with copies and pro…

Was quite enjoying the ztech post till it dissapeared. As far as I am aware there isn't a professional 'mechanics qualification' in the U.K. Set up a garage, call yourself a mechanic or motor engineer and you are one. They wouldn't be the first organisation to be hounded off the forum for some shite jobs, shit happens! Anyway, mechanics, engineering, discuss?(And don't start the Z is some sort of supercar that that needs specialised skills, it's a NISSAN).

Can anyone help, as my bad luck seems to be going from bad to worse!! My car has the above alarm fitted, and after being parked up for a fortnight, the alarm will now not disarm. It seems like the remote has lost the code?? I have been told that if the alarm is put into valet mode, the alarm will be switched off, and the car will start, but, thats providing the valet code hasnt been changed!!! Has anyone got any ideas of what I can do should the valet code have been changed, and I can disable the alarm?? All sensible suggestions are appreciated.

FFS, I just went to get the dipstick out and its fooking stuck. I didnt take it out when I took all the sump off when I did my oil pump. I just left it in there, didnt erally look like it was in the way. Is there any reason why it would jam. I can only pull it about 1/2 inch. I tried turning it to all angles and things... Really really dont wanna take the sump off again, I think I may just burn it all. :headvswal :smash: :wack: :x: :nelson: :nono:

Been quoted £120 to fix mine. Beraings, regulator pack etc... basically only the casing is any good, lol. He said £200 for a new one. Anyone know of a place to get a new one cheaper than £120 or shall I just phone him tomorrow and tell him to get on with it as its a good price? Thanks Mark

A few questions for MantaV8. Starting to sort the job out in my head now. The drivers side exhaust manifold looks like it's going to be a bit tight as the steering shaft is in the way. Did you use the standard type shortie headers, or make the manifold up from scratch? Notice you've got a bonnet bulge, did you need that for clearance on the filter? What's the clearance like between the clutch master cyl and the back of the rocker cover? Can't see from your pics how close it all is back there, but from my rough measuring it looks like the rocker cover and the cylinder are going to touch. Thanks for now.
