i had my tracking done a while ago. It was one of the fancy ones with the cameras. They said they can only return it to stock alignment which i said was fine. Anyway i have noticed the inner most part of my front tyres has become very worn. I have lowered suspension and have seen threads were this has caused similar problems but it doesnt go into the cures. I guess the solution would be to adjust the alignment away from stock to take into account the lower suspension. I dont know much about camber, toe and caster but i remember the guy i bought it off (who put in the new suspension) saying he was running 2° negative camber (i think). was that to stop the inner tread …

Not sure if this should go in this section... ...but...... ...I'm looking into getting an ICE setup in my Zed as I only have the factory fitted speakers in there at the mo (and the back ones don't even work!). I do however have a Panasonic face-off cd player :hyper: Anywho, I was wondering if any of you had recently had a good setup fitted including speakers/subs and the headunit itself and where/how much/etc...? There are a list of things I was looking for as below (quite extensive!): CD HDD (to store the music rather than caryr it around) Ipod interface USB interface Rearpark cam Satnav Motorised Touch screen (6-7") D…

The Zed I recently purchased only came with a 'valet' key which as normal for these only opens and locks the drivers door, and not the glove box or boot lit. Being an import does anyone know how to get a proper key cut / supplied that will do all the locks.

I've just removed my front wings and bumper to replace with viper wings and a strosek front bumper. Just about every bolt sheared or rounded due to rust so i had to cut them of with an angle grinder (very messy) what i want to know is what do i need to salvage from the old bumper (if anything) to use when fitting the new Strosek bumper. Please remember that a lot of bits were so badly rotted they are unrecognisable so any new bits that you think i might need let me know.

Was out in my car the other night and i launched from a standstill in first up to the red, into second and straight up to the red again, then i braked, as the car was slowed to about 20mph the revs dropped until it almost stalled and i lost my powersteering for several seconds... Does anyone know what this could be? The engine was not cold, i had been running it that night for maybe 4 hours previous...

when i first put car back together it went like a rocket, boosting nicely, then my lad had PCV valves of to clean em as she was still smokey, he said the pipes were crappy so i have got some more on order, could a leaking pcv pipe cause no boost, or has he put something back wrong, when driving if you put your boot down the boost gauge just goes to the middle!! Thanks for any help

I just had to insure my 2nd Zed and got the runaround from not only my current insurer but also others. However, I was happy to find Lynbrook Insurance thanks to a thread here who just sold me fully comp on a 1990 TT Z32 as a second car with 2,000 annual mileage for less then £200. Thanks, atc300zx .They also do "Laid-Up" Cover and Agreed Value and will even cover "Basket Cases" which they describe as "a collection of parts which, if assembled, could create most of a car". Might possibly be of use to some fellow members hehehe. They're in Mawdesley, Lancs on 0845 130 4662. I did a list of the insurers I asked for cover on my new L reg NA 2+2 Auto. It's not cheap be…
