This isn't a new one as the problem has been there since the boost controller was fitted. Basically the boost rises as it should and currently peaks at about 15psi but after hitting peak it drops a couple of PSI and holds at 13.5 - 14, this was highlighted at the last RR day (with UJCC). I've played with the controller (greddy profec B spec II) for a long time and no matter what I do with the settings I can't get it to level out so I'm wondering if there could be something else I need to look at. Any thoughts appreciated. I've searched all round the site and can't come up with anything and the settings that others have are quite different to mine?!?!?!?!?! …

I still have the yucki tweed but planing on getting a retrim. I like the idea of different (aftermarket) front seats but if i was to retrim the interior do i also retrim the aftermarket front seats?? or leave them as bought?? Also i want recliners and to be able to work with the stock electrics. What has everyone else done and the more the pics the better so i can decide what route to go down. why thanking you.

Members We are now taking orders for our 300ZX.co.uk 2008 Club Calendar. This year’s calendar was a big success and was very well received by everyone, therefore we will be using the same format and printer to supply the club. The calendar will be in A3 portrait format, with the club’s ‘Car of the Month’ winners featured each month. The club did subsidise the 2007 calendar, due to the problems the previous year. This was in the form of a one off goodwill gesture to all members, resulting in a reduced cost of £10 per calendar, including postage. Unfortunately we are not able to subsidise again, therefore the cost of the 2008 calendar will be £15 per cale…

This sounds like it's worth a try! Petrol Prices See what you think and pass it on if you agree with it…. We are hitting 95p a litre in some areas now, soon we will be faced with paying £1 a litre!!!! This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy petrol on a certain day campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to hurt ourselves by refusing to buy petrol. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can really work. Please read it and join in! Now that th…

I found this forum whilst browsing: http://www.nissanforums.com/z32-chassis-300zx/47003-90-300zxtt-boost-questions.html Here is a quote about why boost jets are bad news. They've always been a pet hate of mine as my first Zeds engine blew due to having jets that were setting the boost too high, combined with a dodgy boost gauge, resulting in several blown pistons. I've always known what they can spike, but never realised why. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote: Originally Posted by dragknt The last thing was for anyone that has a Profec B Spec-II...like what settings they use, and stuff. 12. Only a few days ago i noticed that my drivers side wing was suddenly a lot cooler to the touch than before. After a hard run the nearside is nice and toasty (like always) but now the offside is not. It was pretty even before. I don't think performance has dropped at all or there is any boost leak. All the turbo pipes on both sides are pretty evenly hot using a temp probe on the metal sections. So I would assume the turbos are working evenly. Any ideas? Somethings changed so something is going on under the hood maybe? ta, dub ---

Hi everybody, Got a little problem you maybe able to help with. When I accelarate the boost goes to almost +7 so boost is good. Then as it picks up power drops, boost stays the same but I get a loud hissing. I know that I've got an after Turbo leak but having only had a quick look I can't see anything obvious. Is there a particular pipe or weakness where the pressurized air escapes. Or is it just a case of looking to find it!!!! Jase

recently i came back to my car after excessive rain (the rain may be coinsidental but i originally thought this to be the course). when i first fired the car up it appeared to be misfiring, was impossible to get above 2000-3000 rpm or keep the revs even, after hopping round the block a few times, the problem cleared. now if i start my car from cold it runs like crap until it is warm, but then it stammers and misses bellow 2500rpm, the idle is also flutulating from 500rpm to 1000rpm and also sometimes stalls. if i park up after a run and restart the car whilst still warm i sometimes gt a bit of missfiring and also runs poor as above. I have carried out the …

i had my tracking done a while ago. It was one of the fancy ones with the cameras. They said they can only return it to stock alignment which i said was fine. Anyway i have noticed the inner most part of my front tyres has become very worn. I have lowered suspension and have seen threads were this has caused similar problems but it doesnt go into the cures. I guess the solution would be to adjust the alignment away from stock to take into account the lower suspension. I dont know much about camber, toe and caster but i remember the guy i bought it off (who put in the new suspension) saying he was running 2° negative camber (i think). was that to stop the inner tread …
