Can anyone tell me what colour the front fog light wires are. I want to use the front fog light switch for my rear fog light. To do this I need to splice into the wires for the front fogs. Obviously I don't have front fogs any more so that isn't a problem but I cant find the wires that must have been disconected. A photo would be good. Darrell

hello perhaps you can help me here please. (see pic below) I've just purchased a manual zxtt gearbox and there are two bits missing. One I'm 100% is the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder but the other I don't know. also when I look at the housing of the gearbox I can't seem to see where the starter motor would fit. i.e. ther is no bulge where you would logicvally associate a starter gear plugging in unless that hole I'm uncertain of is the the starter location. if anyone has a diagram or picture of the starter location on a TT gearbox that would help me a great deal. You may wonder why I have no idea about such components and the answer to that…

I saw 2 this morning. The first was a black shortie at around 08:00 this morning on houndmills road in basingstoke. Then an hour later a red k plate uk spec coming out of godalming at about 09:00. I was in a sainsburys truck. Good to see some nice zeds on the road now the sun is out.

Does anyone know if a Diesel Turbo works with the same principle as a Petrol turbo? If so what would cause the turbo on my Volkswagon Transporter TDi to kick in at 3000 revs. Its just been in for a service and now it is so sluggish until just a tad under 3000 revs then it kicks in and is OK. I am only presuming that its the Turbo? thanks vini

Had a problem with the gears whining in 1-3 also noticed it dissapeared when idling and i dipped the clutch??????? Decided to change the gearbox oil and add some Molyslip..... Seem to only have drained out just over 1/2 litre which may be a reason for noise in 1-3 but i've put in 80-90.........is this really bad and should i put in 75-90???? Need to buy another litre as capacity is 3.1 but should i just drain out what i've put in and put back 75-90????? Cheers Alex

I took the 300zx for a day trip to Bath yesterday..... .......I hadn't really used it much in the last few weeks and I had forgotten just how much I love the car. It's a 100 mile trip each way and despite the 30 degree heat, the ZX was running perfectly; the turbos were boosting well with no performance issues - who says Zs are unreliable  I burned a few pounds worth of V-power but it was worth every bit; plus an empty M4 encouraged me to press the fun pedal a bit too hard if you know what I mean....... Still that's why I have the car  Apart from a superb drive, Julia and I had a good day; walking along the river, lunch in the Pump Room and…

took my car to be dyno today came back with 385.8 bhp at the flyweel its running 0.95 bar boost got a hks intercooler the guys at this place were saying that the turbos seemed to take a long time to spool up giving them the impression that the turbos have either been modified or replaced with larger ones , they also said that standard turbos tend to lose guts approaching 15 psi but they said that mine seemed very strong going up to it . is it possible to produce that kind of bhp with standard tubbies ???? and what sort of bhp would you expect to get from standard turbos running 14 psi ????

I have a red 1990 zed and the sun has sucked all life out of the bonnet. The rest of the panels are ok (does the heat from engine make bonnet fade worse??) and are smaller anyway so less noticable. would love to get a full respray but can really afford it. I have got a can (standard size how ever big that is in ml) of paint in my my colour code made up as well as cans of primer and laquer and was thinking of doing it myself if the weather stays fine. my question is how many cans of paint will i need to cover a bonnet and should i treat painting the bonnet differently from other panels because of the engine heat (extra coats, high temp / flexible laquer, etc)?
