Hi, Ive just bought a standard 300zx twin turbo, The turbos dont seem to give much boost and at first i thought it was because of blowing exhausts so I put performance full system on and induction kit but still not much boost, im after a a good punch up the back side that pulls your head back in to the seat, ive been told that the standard turbos could easily stand 1.2 bar of boost, is this true? how can I you get the turbos to kick in sooner?

right chappies and chappieesses, just got the z back from a full service with the following observations which i need your advice on please. the front tension bushes are deteriorating ............... no probs looks a simple job and the o/s/r hicas joint is showing signs of wear now i think what my tech is reffering to is the bolt on joint(link arm) that attaches to the stub axle as i call it. is this a common problem as the track rod ends have been replaced at some time and seem o.k. as i`m a bit of a virgin on these babies whats your thoughts am i best off ripping out the hicas and putting an eliminator bar or is it a replacable part as i looked on the z centre…

My brakes and suspension seemed fine until i chipped and raised the boost on my 300tt today On my first outing i was shocked to find how crap the brakes and suspension felt I planned at leaving the brakes and suspension standard but now i need more money to make it feel safe again The moral of the story is if you have more power be prepared to spend on the brakes and suspension as well Do skyline brakes fit straight on ?

I'm looking to buy a new clutch for a z32 tt. the engine is standard at moment but boost will be raised to about 14 psi max so will produce a little more than standard horsepower. I have spooted these on ebay and wonder if anyone on the forum has had any experience of them etc. cheers Paul http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Clutch-Masters-89-96-Nissan-300ZX-TT-Clutchmasters_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ011QQitemZ320156255488QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Southbend-300ZX-DXD-Clutch-Rally-Series-TT-433-TQ-Cap_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ009QQitemZ190126220016QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSA…

in the process of taking engine out of TT auto at present, I have read the online manual and also searched all threads on the subject, and there seems to be a difference of opinion, will the engine come out simply by splitting the gearbox and leaving box in place or does the gearbox have to be dropped, also does the torque converter have to come off before pulling engine or can it be left bolted to the flywheel, many thanks in advance

Saw it on sunday on the A60 going towards mansfield. It looked reddish, looked like it had a wide arch bodykit, spoiler. I was in the purple 300 heading the other way, flashing my lights as i went past.

Foot wide wet spot in the works car park today :( When car is running I only get a drip every 4-6 seconds. When I took the filler cap off there was plenty of pressure? Anybody ever tried/recommend any chemical fixes if they exist. Cheers

found the origin of the steam from the rear of my engine back. a leak from the area ringed in green is dribbling down and hitting the turbo outlet just before the lamda sensor. Cant see which one of the 2 hoses it is because they are in an awkward crevice. Is it likely that i have a split in one of the hoses or just need a jubille clip to tighten it up. They may have got knocked when my O2 sensors were fitted a while ago. What are these hoses and what do they carry and from where to where? what are the code for these hoses on the courtesy parts catalogue below?

I have a couple of SWB NA's One is a early 90 and has the original Jspec clocks which had KPH on the inside and MPH on the outside. So the car was never changed to MPH as it registered both. It still clockes in Km's. The other is a october 92 with ABS etc and had the 180KPH clocks. These were converted to MPH though it still clocks in Km's, but the power steering is so light it gives no feed back. It's a bit like riding Allybarbers magic carpet. How do i get the power steering sorted. Someone said UK clocks would sort it??
