Hi. I have a chance of running at woodbridge airfield over the winter( on the bike, brrr), but may get a go in the car too. So, how hard is it to get rid of the restrictor? :p Where is it? what does it do?

Has anybody noticed all the stage 3 chips on flea bay claiming 400rwhp at 17psi. :rofl: :rofl: I mailed a guy bidding saying the claims are bullsh*t as it cost me 3k to make that kind of power and he told me "it dont cost that much ,you were ripped off and mind your own buisness".What a twat,hope his fookin pistons melt :wack: .

finally picked up my z today! spent 4 hours turning pink paint back into red. look okay?

I'm having my car repsrayed in a couple of weeks and have been striping it ready. I've found some rust in the drivers rear wheelarch shown in the pic below. Does anyone know the best way of fixing this? Is it simply a case of shaping some metal and welding it in or would I need to buy a panel to cut up? There was a nut there that the bumper attached to.

ok did the RR day with a local car club today , there were a few evo 6's a bmw m3 evo a N/A supra , couple of 200sx some one offs and a few others, the Z did us proud, a 17 year old classic car was the most powerfull and had the biggest increase over standard bhp as well( will put the plot up later) 375 bhp and 380lbft That doesnt tell the real story though, its about the fitment of the underdrive pulley and the difference it made, the last RR at the same place was 369 bhp and 368lbft so the BHP increase was only 5( very warm day today though so with the same temps the operator would say 10 is likely) but the torque was a whopping 12lbft , not only this but the …

I am changing the brake pads and upgrading the lines to braided lines today. I just have a quick question about bleeding the brakes... Does this have to be done manually or does anyone have any tricks to make this easier/quicker. Cheers.

hi guys im new to the site i after buying a 300zx twin turbo manual uk spec. how reliable are the engines? i had a look at them and i noticed it quite tight under the bonnet! do they have any cooling issues? how many miles are the turbos good for etc? are the uk models mapped for 95 ron? any help would be much appreciated many thanks, :dance: kyle

Hi guys, I need some replacement parts for my Z, namely rear shocks, Hicas track rods, and a new fuel tank. The Z Centre appear to sell the rods and shocks cheaper than the Nissan dealer (not such a surprise), but does anyone know where I can get a fuel tank + straps from? Nissan quoted around £600 for one which I thought was outragous! Cheers all

yes. Once again i am having problems with this crap engine i bought from getgreedy. The engine seems to have blown a hole in one of the core plugs (says a garage). All i know is that i poor water in one end and iv literally comes straight out the back of the engine. Its up past the turbo somewhere that i couldn't see. Im sick

... In conzult, sometimes my auto gearbox doesnt pick up :S Does anyone know of any particular reason why it might not? Just a bit strange, everything else is okay, (aircon, hicas, engine etc) and can i have a definitive answer from someone who knows exactly what an 02 sensor should do at; A: Tick over B: Cruising C: Hard Acceleration Thanks guys!

Just noticed turbo gauge pressure on mine goes from -7 to +7, presume this is standard on the jap spec tts. It does goes 4/5 of the way accross so think its all working ok.

Hi, you may remember me, I bought a few bits from you including some 555cc injectors. I have been having no end of problems ever since I fitted the things. One dosnt work, period, and at least one has a poor pattern so is next to useless. I am looking at at least £100.00 to get them serviced. On top of that, you promised to send the new O rings, which you didnt. This is on top of you telling me, and every one else that it was a Fidanza flywheel, which I doubt it is. And yes I know we discussed this but so far the ECU is the only thing I bought which I dont have issues with, but then I have not been able to drive my car since fitting your stuff. Wh…

Had a new auto box in the Zed today, now I know the ECU has to re-learn but are these symptoms normal!? 1. Gear makes first change at 7,000 RPM (if at all, sometimes it doesnt change) 2. Can only change the gear manual by driving to 3000 RPM and pressing "Hold", this changes the gear (sometimes, other times the revs go up but no speed) 3. Occasionally when driving revs just go higher, no more speed. 4. Performance seems crap. 5. Not sure if 2nd gear is there!? When driving in "1" then going to "2", the revs stay where they are they dont go lower or higher. Any thoughts?
