around 12:15 today, what looked like a matt black zed travelling north on the M1 which had venom 6 pot rear lights. i was heading south towards leicester. anyone on here ?

Well, £3000 later I got my Zed back into action with a rebuilt top-end, new Clutch, flywheel, Unortho pulley etc. Unfortunately I'm not going to get insurance for it; so packed it away in the Garage for the winter and intend to declare it SORN. ..did think about just selling :cry: I do plan on towing it to a track or two over the next 6 months. i.e. should I try and start it for 10 minutes every week or two? or it is ok to let it sit there for months at a time ??

Hello everyone, I am a new user as of today. So hope im doing this correct? Anyways i brought my first z last month and i love it, the thing is im looking for a paint code for it and i cant find it. I check everywhere and still no luck. Its like an impreza blue colour? Iv had a look at the some of the cars and its the same colour as flickys? The car is a 300zx n/a on a G plate - Manual Any help, would be appreciated. Thanks Rob

Hey Guys Iv just had the car back from getting the I.C.E Fitted, iv got a seriously strong fuel smell coming from the petrol tank area I looked underneath the car and on the passenger side there is a leak from the pipe that actually connects to the tank itself........ Im guessing this is whats wrong........what do i need to do to get round this and get it fixed......is it a new tank or a new pipe or is there a seal that may need replacing Any ideas? Faisal

just out of curriosity what would the performance of a tt zed be if its running 385bhp at the fly at an estimate ???0-60 ???? Top speed ???

went round my engine bay with a bag of cable ties and secured all the hoses. Was shocked to see when i was removing the balance bar that some important fuel hoses are just held in place by a will and a prayer! went round securing all the hoses paying special attention to the vaccum and fuel lines. May not do anything but a if it saves having a vac leak or a slight fuel leak it is worth it!

Bu**er. 5 weeks waiting for bodyshop, back today+ then.... I just got a nail in a rear tyre+ its unfixable( wouldn't really want to either)+ i cant get a new one till thursday. :cry: :cry: So, if you are within 25 miles of st.neots, could i borrow a legal rear? Or maybe buy one/ a set? Dont wanna go far on this yellow wheel :headvswal Cheers.simon.

It comes on as soon as the engine is started and makes loud hoover type noise when engine is revved, all the belts are back on properly. There is also a weird noise at about 2.5-4k rpm from that area, sounds like a shook beer can full of tiny stones/bolts. Also as soon as the fan comes on it feels as if it's holding the engine back almost like the engine goes down on one cyl. When the engine is switched off the fan spins freely. None of this happened before the cambelt change. Any ideas?

Have to say it's the dogs danglies :dance: only problem is I find myself revving at the lights like a boy racer! A lot more fun now i'm getting used to it. To be in control of the power for a change is very satisfying! I'm still fond of the smooth auto power, and I wouldn't knock autos, if nissan had made them better i'd still have one, but the manual really is a fun car. Gave her the hollies tonight on a long straight into a tight curve and frightened the shite out of myself lol, if I keep this up I'll be needing a new engine too :cool: :)

Think mine are on the way out. If you listen beneath the car and rev it a bit, there is a farty/nasty spluttering noise coming from them on return. It may be o2 sensor. are there 1 or 2 on each one? if mine are shot, i'd rather replace them than bypass . Are they expensive new? cheers Mick

what would cause one of the little pulley's to seize? Dont know how long its been like that, the car has been running pretty crap so took it for some TLC and found one of the little pulleys were seized? is is something i did wrong, or didnt do or just something that happens. :( :( Its since been oiled cleaned etc as a temp measure and apparently I need to get a new bearing ... :rolleyes: oh and by shite, one of my wheeels (thin strip on the inside) was down to steel :wack: Never trust a woman and a car :smash:

made it home finally after the 600 mile/12 hour round trip to pick up nice shiney wheels, sorry i was a bit anti social but just wanted to get back on the road! cheers again, nick :duffer:

Hi Gang.. I've recently gone to great lengths (along with the great help of others on here) to locate, and buy both a GRP SE Bonnet, and matching headlight panel.. But I think I may have made a boo boo. I have been informed that a Strosek front bumper requires a 'special' narrower headlight panel than standard fitment :confused: :headvswal Looking at some pictures of my wide arch zed tonight, it looks like it's quite likely the case :( Can anyone definately 'in the know' enlighten me further?.. And if that is the case, is there alternative styles available in this narrower fitment, and if so.. Where from? Thanks all!! GUMBALL :wack:

Anybody have any idea which fuse is for the aerial - save me breaking my back checking everyone. lol
