hi all got my filter today. Z32 tt Apexi power intake with jap instructions. Bit rusty on the old japanese so wonder if anyone had uk pdf or anything so I can browse through it before fitting it saturday. Cheers in advance

Hi folks using the z32 power train in a ford anglia so don't have zx experience. looking to buy a new oil cooler to fit in the space I've got available and prsume it's a case of connecting the two hoses from the oil filter housing to an oil cooler as the supply and return. trouble is the new radiator I have purchased has two small connections mid way up on passenger side which I'm told are for the oil cooler. does this mean the oil cooler is cooled by engine coolant or should I blank them off and stick to the air cooled method many thanks Paul

Hi guy's I've had a quick search on here, but can't find it. I know nothing about this, so bear with me please.. I'm looking for a guide to fitting/installing hardpipe mounted BOV's (the BOV's are already mounted on the pipes).. I've found the guide for fitting the recirc replacement type BOV, but not the hardpipe mounted type.. For example, where do the vacuum pipes off the BOV'S go to?.. And do I need to remove the stock recircs etc.?? Thanks for any advice on this :)

Saw you on the A5 heading in towards london near the big Matalan and the bus garage. It was around 1 ish. G reg with 99 spec rear lights. Was in the van again so you wouldn't have seen me. Looked very nice mate. Darrell

when driving through the rain on monday i had a few drips on my passenger side matt, in the far left corner. It is not the heater matrix as the drips were pure rain water and the problem hasnt happened before or since. Only when driving through heavy rain.

Looking round at insurance companies, out of the comparision sites, and the ones listed on here from people I got three main quotes two from different brokers Carole Nash £828 with all the extra but a £500 excess (using norwich union)unable to lower the excess. Accademic £915.60 with the extra and only £250 excess (also using norwich union). Adrian Flux 891.08 with a £250 excess, but will not protect my 4 years no claims (Using Highway) Strange how they wouldn't let me lower the excess on the first quote , when they will on the second one! (as always never the same quote twice) How do these quotes compare to others? :confused: :confused:

Hi guys. I've seen on a few of the rides in here that you can get dash "trim" kits and seat cover kits. Has anyone got these and if so, how difficult did you find them to fit? Also, what was the approx cost. I'm ok with a screwdriver, but do they need sewing or anything else to fit..? Am looking at replacing my old (dead) z, and want to personalise it a bit, so any pointers would be helpfull... Cheers Tony

Hi, Unfortunately, my car recently developed a head gasket failure so I've taken it off-the-road for the winter. Guess it's as good a time to start the various projects I've had planned for a while. Apart for the obvious engine rebuild I am also looking into the exhaust side of things. My car is a MY1990 JDM Twin Turbo and has the original catalytic converters still in place (but with custome cat-back free flow exhaust). I don't particularly want to go down the route of decat pipes (would make the car far too loud) but was wondering if anyone had fitted so-called "sport" cats (also referred to as "hi-flow" cats)? Does anyone have a good known source for these? …

Anyone had this problem? My roof is letting water in on the drivers side at the front of the targa top ( on the painted edge ) Do i need to buy a new targa seal or do i need to buy the targa seal and the seal that runs round the roof and door too ?

The complete aircon controller pod is not working in my Z. Checked all fuses and relays in footwell and under bonet. Changed pod over aswell. Still no joy. I know other people have had this same senario, but I can't remember what they had to do ? Any help appreciated. Thanks

I got in the car today after work noticed the blue neon on the sills out both sides,is it a fuse or bulbs that need changing any advice.Some kid knocked my wing mirror off no relation to them,father said he would buy new one he's in for a shock,£310 for part not fitted or sprayed.

Have heard from a reliable source, that tesco are winding down their supplies of 99ron, not sure of the reasons, or if it affects all stores yet. Have been using it for about 2yrs now, never any probs, bit of a shame really, as it's quite local to me... :(

Before anyone asks; I know it's me , but they ARE fitted correctly. They are the zcentre ones, so tried and tested. I've tried adjusting them vertically+horizontally but all i get is dim whitish light. I've now come to the conclusion that my lights are so dirty inside the units that i've no choice but to remove them take them apart and clean them. Wasn't expecting this. I was so dissapointed last night, I was convinced i had done something wrong. But I checked everything today, earthed to the body, dips come on with head beams etc. so it's not the hid's, it's the light enclosure i'm pretty sure. …

I know this will open a can of worms about bov's being crap and you are better of with re-circs but here goes. I have an auto zed and i just want to know how they would opperate on an auto. As you dont take your foot off the the throttle between changes would they only sound when you took your foot off or would they sound between gears ? Has anyone on here fitted them to an auto?

I need to buy a new MAF and have seen quite a few on ebay, they all claim to be for 300's but do they need to be exactly the same part number. My MAF part number is 22680 30P00, will one with part number 22680 6IU00 work ok on my car?
