I have a 2 into 1 SWB Stainless Cat back system for a TT. Sounds wonderfull on the TT and looks awesome, but unfortunately for me it is just too loud on the NA. So I'm looking to swap for a stainless twin exit car bak system. Its an Alunox System so very expensive and well made.

But not from us this time! We get asked many oil related questions every day and decided to put some of the most frequently asked ones to an Oil Expert called John Rowland. He has been the Chief R&D Chemist for Fuchs/Silkolene for many years and previously developed ahead of their time ester based oils for the RR Jet industry. What he doesn’t know about oil is not worth knowing in our opinion! Even though some of these topics may have been covered before here, this post is well worth reading. 1) How is an oil manufactured; transformed from the black sludge that comes out of the ground, into the nectar-like substance we pour into our cars and bikes? …

Car is a 1992 N/A Jap Import. Imported in 2003, now got 59K on the clock (miles). My question is, I am driving to blackpool tomorrow from nottingham (120 miles) and obviously back again. I am looking to change the cam belt but need to know, do Jap folk generally look after their motors as I do not know if it has been changed or not? What are the chances that it has been, being an import?

Hi all, I have noticed a small leak today, it appears to be directly under the Sump / Oil Filter. There is a small pool of oil (approx 20x15cm) and I did not see any drip drip drip while looking. Noticed it at about 14:30 today, its been parked at work since 10:00 following a 30 mile motorway trip in stop start traffic. Anyone got some wisdom to throw on this (and yes the oil filter and sump plug are tightly screwed in) Cheers

We all know that the MAF we have does not like water, but the position of most number plates on imports allows water in through the top vent on the bumper straight onto the MAF! Have got to admit the no plate position on the UK car, stop this occuring, so maybe contributes to UK cars rumoured improved relaibility?

i have owned my 300zx for over a year now and have sometimes come# on here to look around but this is the first time i have posted. i drove a bit less than 200 miles up to yorkshire on monday and the car was fine. i let it cool down before the end of my journey. When i went to the car in the morning which was parked in a multi-story it was ok and i made my way down to the exit. While i was looking for my ticket by the ticket machine i looked round at the car and loads of smoke was billowing out of the drivers side exhaust. That had never happened before and i needed to get to a meeting so i carried on my short journey hoping it would clear up. It didnt really a…

Hi folks using the z32 power train in a ford anglia so don't have zx experience. looking to buy a new oil cooler to fit in the space I've got available and prsume it's a case of connecting the two hoses from the oil filter housing to an oil cooler as the supply and return. trouble is the new radiator I have purchased has two small connections mid way up on passenger side which I'm told are for the oil cooler. does this mean the oil cooler is cooled by engine coolant or should I blank them off and stick to the air cooled method many thanks Paul
