how often do engine sensors such as the following list pack in or become problematic. knock sensor power transistor unit throttle positions sensor crank angle sensor and MAF's it seems they go for silly money on ebay for what are effectively 17 year old cars. with no gurantee's on any of these such parts I wonder how robust they are or are people just greedy? it's a bit of a moan but having restored a number of old cars the prices are a bit out of hand I feel for this model. hi all. i've been head scratching for ages now over what to do with my auto. we swapped a TT engine, 'box, etc into an N/A car and cant get it to run. at first when we tried it we got it to fire on easy start but now it just wont have it. somethings not right with the electrics. we had to wire the starter direct from the ignition for it to work. no idea what it could be anymore (swapped CAS, played with all the earths and plugs, etc) so is there anyone in this neck of the woods that could have a look? if not it'll be for sale to the first reasonable offer. its been sitting a few months since the conversion so now i just want it to work so i can sell it or i'll sell …

Hi, Ive just bought a standard 300zx twin turbo, The turbos dont seem to give much boost and at first i thought it was because of blowing exhausts so I put performance full system on and induction kit but still not much boost, im after a a good punch up the back side that pulls your head back in to the seat, ive been told that the standard turbos could easily stand 1.2 bar of boost, is this true? how can I you get the turbos to kick in sooner?

right chappies and chappieesses, just got the z back from a full service with the following observations which i need your advice on please. the front tension bushes are deteriorating ............... no probs looks a simple job and the o/s/r hicas joint is showing signs of wear now i think what my tech is reffering to is the bolt on joint(link arm) that attaches to the stub axle as i call it. is this a common problem as the track rod ends have been replaced at some time and seem o.k. as i`m a bit of a virgin on these babies whats your thoughts am i best off ripping out the hicas and putting an eliminator bar or is it a replacable part as i looked on the z centre…

My brakes and suspension seemed fine until i chipped and raised the boost on my 300tt today On my first outing i was shocked to find how crap the brakes and suspension felt I planned at leaving the brakes and suspension standard but now i need more money to make it feel safe again The moral of the story is if you have more power be prepared to spend on the brakes and suspension as well Do skyline brakes fit straight on ?

I'm looking to buy a new clutch for a z32 tt. the engine is standard at moment but boost will be raised to about 14 psi max so will produce a little more than standard horsepower. I have spooted these on ebay and wonder if anyone on the forum has had any experience of them etc. cheers Paul http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Clutch-Masters-89-96-Nissan-300ZX-TT-Clutchmasters_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ011QQitemZ320156255488QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Southbend-300ZX-DXD-Clutch-Rally-Series-TT-433-TQ-Cap_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ009QQitemZ190126220016QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSA…

in the process of taking engine out of TT auto at present, I have read the online manual and also searched all threads on the subject, and there seems to be a difference of opinion, will the engine come out simply by splitting the gearbox and leaving box in place or does the gearbox have to be dropped, also does the torque converter have to come off before pulling engine or can it be left bolted to the flywheel, many thanks in advance

Saw it on sunday on the A60 going towards mansfield. It looked reddish, looked like it had a wide arch bodykit, spoiler. I was in the purple 300 heading the other way, flashing my lights as i went past.
