Foot wide wet spot in the works car park today :( When car is running I only get a drip every 4-6 seconds. When I took the filler cap off there was plenty of pressure? Anybody ever tried/recommend any chemical fixes if they exist. Cheers

found the origin of the steam from the rear of my engine back. a leak from the area ringed in green is dribbling down and hitting the turbo outlet just before the lamda sensor. Cant see which one of the 2 hoses it is because they are in an awkward crevice. Is it likely that i have a split in one of the hoses or just need a jubille clip to tighten it up. They may have got knocked when my O2 sensors were fitted a while ago. What are these hoses and what do they carry and from where to where? what are the code for these hoses on the courtesy parts catalogue below?

I have a couple of SWB NA's One is a early 90 and has the original Jspec clocks which had KPH on the inside and MPH on the outside. So the car was never changed to MPH as it registered both. It still clockes in Km's. The other is a october 92 with ABS etc and had the 180KPH clocks. These were converted to MPH though it still clocks in Km's, but the power steering is so light it gives no feed back. It's a bit like riding Allybarbers magic carpet. How do i get the power steering sorted. Someone said UK clocks would sort it??

I have owned the car for a week and now remembered why I sold the last one - they are trouble!! :( When I started up this morning there was a really loud metal scratching sound coming from the general direction of the Autobox. The sound gets higher when you rev the engine. I had a look round and all seemed well and the noise went. Started driving to work and in the first traffic jam the noise started back up. Really screetchy and I dropped it into neutral and it stayed the same for a bit and then gradually faded away again. Although it does seem to get louder when going slowly. By the time I got to work it was nearly constant. The car is a 92 TT. …

Hi All, Seems a few of you guys have joined up to Aus300zx.com so I figured I'd join up here to say hello. It's a '90 NA J-spec 2+2 Manual in Silver. Not many mods so far, got an Apexi pod, 2.5inch front pipes, 2.5inch metal cats and 2.5inch Fujitsubo Giken CatBack (came with the car from Jap... sounds nice though). Also has Brembo slotted rotors allround and swapped to TT front calipers. The wheels are GMAX Racing "Energy's" in 17*8 and 17*9 Got braided lines coming soon and after that I'll start spending more money on the suspension, extractors and a retune. Not too happy with the way the car looks atm, it shows lots of scratches and key marks from it's previ…

Not sure, but looking at the possibilty of selling up, may not happen yet. Depends on what its worth in the real world. I would guess over 30k has gone into the car, maybe more, I darent add it up lol. May just keep the car garaged till next year and hopefully get some use out of it. Ive recently had an extension built to the house and now need new kitchen, flooring etc etc etc hence my thinking. Pretty much a full spec list in my rides section. At present its just been run in on a JD chip, the next stage would be the setup for its full potential, with either the AEM setup I have here or a Link setup. Ive been told once setup, it should be running 500bhp plus and eve…

Ive been looking at buying some pre 94 nismo 555's injectors for my zed as a few of you on here have advised me to do. But ive found some worrying info on another zed site in canada after looking for info on the injectors on google.Has anyone had this trouble??? Well, now I know why I keep eating so many fuel injectors. Apparently it's normal for Nismo 555 injectors to last only a year in the 1990 to 1994 300zx... http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg...msg_id=1535571 Some more comments from Greg @ SpecialtyZ: We have had many, many, many nismo 555 injectors fail in the last couple years and nismo will not do anything. some of the early style injectors …

dont know how long this will stick around as these guys arent registered traders but i have had a good experience with them that i thought i would innocently share on here. I am not in the pay of these guys and recieved no discount for doing this, their business also does not clash with any of the registered traders on here so i hope there wont be a problem............ http://www.alloywheelrepairs.net I had a little spin a while ago where i cracked one of my rear alloys into a kerb and obviously hit the front one aswell. The lightweight italian alloy didnt cope too well! The rear had a big chunk smashed out of it about 3 or 4 inches long and was badly bu…
