Finally my tyre woes are over, You see when i brought my car in 2006 the goodyear tyres that came with the car had gone all hard from the trip over from Japan. The hard rubber made the tyres make this rolling sound which when all 4 wheels where on was very loud and annoying to listento. About 1 month after owning the car i got what i thought were 6 zx rims with good tyres on them to only find 6 skyline rims with 3 x 2 different pairs of tyres on all 6 rims Anyways atm they were better then the tyres that came with the car so i made do with the tyres i had. A few months back i finally transfered my 2 rear tyres from the skyline rims to my zx rims but couldnt do …

That is the question. Evening peeps. Before I invest in decats is it worth in in your opinion? Jap spec TT '90 with apprx 70k mile (114000km) on clock. Car has trust cat backs already fitted and I'm waiting arrival or apexi air funnel. I'm concerned about speeding up turbo wear against potential realistic driving gains. It's an auto has been well looked after and I will be doing about 5000-10000 a year in it. Hate to have the pipes done and 12 months later have the turbos pack in costing £1000's that I don't have. Any advice or experience would be cool

I have got to a few Z meets and it is so cool to meet up with the Z people ..see their cars, swap advice, trade and have a great drive and a good time...I reckon it would be even better if more Z drivers came along and got into it..these cars are spectacular in a line up and can't get over how unique each car is;even when same colour ,everyones done something different...These cars like long distance drives ..Hit the open road and get to the meets ! Cheers Rich

A question for the guy's in the know. A 8.5x19 front wheel fitted with a 235 tyre, with an offset of +28 BUT.. I also have to fit a hub adapter, which is 1.25 inch thick.. Will the wheels overhang the arches too much, and look like "Super fandango's" ? Thanks for any advice :)

  16. I'v just had a look around, mjp, zcentre, swz sites... But found nothing for wheel bearings... Also; Turbo inlet pipes, (only right handside as i'm looking at it) the outer sleeve has a small split... Anyone point me in the right direction for price n availablity. (Tried calling all the above, cept Nissan, :headvswal but could'nt get through.) Also, cheepest place for tyres? My fronts are shagged with the standard camber setting playing havoc with the inside tread. :( In retrspect, with the way i drive the Zed at times its not surprising, so maybe 2nd hand / part worn maybe a less expensive way fwd. Opinions please?

Ok I live in London and that is an immediate conflict with owning a 300! But have notced that when poodling along between 1500-2000rpm the engine doesn't really like it, anyone else having this experience? Everything else on the engine is fine as much as I can ascertain ;) Some people have upgraded their recirc valves on the sxoc and notice that this has gone (ok different engine), and I am wondering that maybe the nearly fully closed throttle at low speeds is causing this problem?

I've decided to pull my car out from Martyn (used to be called Zen garage). after 21 months and no sign of completion with constant promised to be finished next week, I've had enough. I'm not even sure what is outstanding on the car but would just feel safer with it sitting on my drive way rather than many miles away. Apparently there are only a few things outstanding on it. Master Cylinder and a few other bits, however until I get the car back or even see my car again I don't know what the extent of the outstanding work is. With the baby due in the next few weeks and work coming out off my butt, I really don't think I will have time to get the car up and…

I have been building my website just lately and am quite pleased with the outcome of my efforts. I thought I would ask this question by means of a poll as a gesture and not to promote it. There isnt anything much to promote anyway? Do you mind if I use a picture of your car in my sites gallery? I wont do so if you do not vote or vote no. Thanks vini

Right, winter project may start soon. Leather re-trim which I am hopefully gonna order before xmas from either http://www.importsextreme.com or http://www.leatherseats.com in the US. Quality being outstanding with all seams being double stitched as opposed to many kits you can get over here that have simple overlap stitching. Going for charcoal bolsters with dove grey centres and dove grey stitching on the black. Ordering also a complete hide which I will take to krytch trimmers in Bristol who will cut and stitch all leading edges rather than a simple glue-on job. I am considering flocking the dash binnacle with the dove grey leather too, but not sure yet. D…
