since im getting the car resprayed im changing the colour, was just wondering if anyone knows any websites that i can view diferent samples so i can choose what i want

Car has gone for compression testing yesterday. Valves are knackered by the sounds and oil pressure is down awaiting further update if piston rings are damaged. All will soon be revealed looking forward to a refreshed car though all ready for the summer :hyper: :hyper:

parked my car at work this week (admittedly running low on feul,) i left her faceing the wind and the rain , you know whats comming people , went to start her up which was fine , pulled away and started to drive home when she lost revs , checking the feul gauge i was just about out or the way she was behaving out of feul,idiot i am, topped up which a jerry can sparked up started to drive then she started to couugh and splutter and die on me , this did happen a few monts ago in the real bad rain we had but she would fire up and if i kept the revs up i could drive but the moment my foot was off she died then it would be an age before i could get her statred again , but this…

well after long enough arguing with the insurers the car was written off. i am buying it back though just have to wait in them getting back to me with a settlement figure, they wouldnt give me one until i sent away the full service history and all my reciepts. there was only 2 mechanical things wrong with the car a bent steering arm and steering rack the rest was to the bodykit. never mind getting the whole car redone when it goes into the bodyshop that way i can get all the little bits and pieces done. so hopefully will be back soon

Tonight at 20:15 driving on Uxbridge road past Ealing Common station. Think I saw you GiantSlayer in your red one again and 30 secs later, looked at my rearview and saw the back of another one. Couldn't see the colour, but was def a Zed. Can't mistake those distintive rear lights!

Well, just got back from my day adventure of taking my Zed from Germany to Holland (Amsterdam way) to the lads at DTA to swap my engine. I know its in safe hands now LOL Just waiting for Eric to do his magic and get meon the road again :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:

As above, in Formby village at 10.15am, car was de-spoilered i believe was'nt much time to notice much else as it was busy and i was driving a van the size of a bus, lol, and needed to concentrate. :) Was it you???

i have a thorn in my side!! not going to preach lol but I have my fantastic mx6 2.5 v6 24valve up for sale and not even 1 bite???? Been out in her today and it really is an amazing solid car, really quick, and an exhurst note to die for but no body has even given me an offer??? its in loot today and again not 1 bite......... has anyone got any idea's on how to get people interested??? ive spent a fortune on this car and it needs to go by next sat. its near perfect, and worth every penny of the £1195 asking price. To me its worth £1800 all day. So any advice is welcome.

At last my Front mount intercooler has arrived, only took 8 weeks as i took the cheaper postage option. :headvswal Well all in all doesn't look too bad.Some of the casting could do with a bit more work but nothing my Dremmrel and a spare hour can't sort out.All in all quite pleased especially for the amount of kit for cash compared with the real deal. Just replaced the TPS and set up as described here on the forum. I was getting eratic gear changes on the auto box, high idle etc. Power light for auto box staying on now after flashing to say that I have a fault stored in the ECU? Cannot get the light off by using centre console switch???? ECU code is code 3 - TPS sensor??????? I need help...............................Please Battery disconected at moment to reset ECU? Any ideas or advice warmly welcomed................... :nana2: :hyper: put coolent in the old gal today and fired her up. not even a second and it fires into life. so far so good NO KNOCKING.. but going to test over the weekend. wow how i missed driving the beasty. i feel happy for now :hyper: so at the moment i was ripped off for my 60k service!!! i will try and contact the person that did it again over the weekend just to see what he says about not replacing the tensioner! Hey there guys and gals, I've just acquired UK spec alloys (the ones that take 245 on the rear)... But, and this is the sneaky bit - I am thinking to get another pair of the 245 tyre permitting rears to put on the front... questions; 1) Does this make sense - will it make the driving better? 2) Will they fit? without spacers that is... 3) Do you think they will look good? 4) I'm thinking to put them on so there is less space between the wings and the alloys... Will it be noticeable? Is it worth it? 5) Will it adversely affect the speedometer readings and powersteering? (which i really love on my Zed :) ) P.S. I am only interested in the original 16" al…

Have a 95 TT 2+2 Auto, and want to update the interior including seats. I've tried the Z Centre but whenever I ring or email them I either get a "Welcome to BT Answer 1571..Blah blah blah" and never have a reply from my email enquires. Anyone else know where I can get some? Thanks Paul.

Hi Saw a White 'G' Reg pulling off the M4 as was racing by on the M4. Flashed a few times but I dont think you saw me.... Mine is a 95 Jap Spec TT originally 'M' reg but now with my own 'K' plate on it...

a friend has offered me some wheels which are 18" diameter with a stud pattern of 114 and a width of 9.5j... My question is however, will they fit my Z as they have an offset of 50... will they stick out past the arches? or sit too far in so that i would need spacers... cheers guys

my last 2 cars have had leather, my first two cars had velour now i know leather is the preferred choice but i preffered the velour of my old nova gsi trim and the velour of my old fiesta RS1800, it felt more comfortable, it was warmer in winter and i didnt slide abojut round corners what do you prefer???
