  3. Hi guys. Im having a bit of a zed nightmare at the moment, i have a corroded power steering pipe behind the front bumper, i can physically see where the fluid is spraying/leaking from the pipe. I removed the front bumper to get a closer look at the pipe, and its the pipe that runs from the power steering reservoir vertically down the car to the bottom of the bumper, along the bottom of the air con rad and the rest of the rads, then pops up through the other side of the car into the bottom of the engine. I got mike feeney to fax over the layout of the pipe on the car and in order to replace it i need to remove what seems like an additional 2/3rds of the car…

While im tinkering around with my car (getting it ready for respray) i wanted to try something different with the exhaust, I think the exhaust is standard on the car at the moment but not sure, its straight pipe (approx 75mm) from turbos to back box, no mid pipes cats etc, I need to know if it is possible to cut the tail pipes off the back box and weld up the holes, then drill/cut into the side of the backbox and weld new pipes on the side? im asking this because i want side exit exausts to come out half way up the bumper each side, im a welder by trade so can do all the fabracating etc no problem but will it cause many problems with back pressure etc? anybody …

Finally got the car through the mot (cheers andy duff for advising on turning the afc down to get through spot on it worked!!! cheers) took it to the rollers to to get remaped after playing with the afc. This is where the problem started 1. When we tried to boost up the car over 12 psi the car wouldnt hold boost and was jumping up and down 1 psi but was fine up to 9-10 psi so i got the guy set it at stock boost which i believe is 7 psi it made 324 fwbhp at this settingi dont quite no how ??? and made 377 @ 12.7 psi 5500 rpm where the guy lifted off because of this psi jump . It has bigger turbos and possibly injectors (because at 12 psi the afc had loads more to go …

Hi, I'm getting totally fed up with the place who has my car trying to find someone to spray it. It's currently sitting with no paint at all on it and I'm not waiting for them any longer. I've got one place to call on Monday (thanks Darren) but does any know of any good bodyshops who can spray a pearl colour and can finish off some filler/fibreglass work? The only problem is my car is not exactly drivable so can't be too far from Watford/NW London. Thanks Vijay
