Hello Peeps Seen this SWB N/A manual on Piston heads does anyone know it? The owner has said that it was owned by a former club member. SWB on Pistonheads It looks very nice was going to go up over the weekend from Bognor (305 miles) then he tells me the heater matrix has been disconnected. He said it was done by the previous owner but doesnt know why. I have been assured that the air con still works, is this possible with the heater matrix disconnected? Also would anyone know what kind of cost may be involved in getting that sorted either a new matrix or just connecting pipes. Any help and asap (with the short time span) would be most appre…

I had my car in a local garage to have the injectors changed while the plenum was off I got the garage to bypass the plenum water hoses and the EGR. Before the car went in the stock boost gauge worked fine now it is not working properly. When the ignition is off the gauge reads -14 when I turn the ignition on the needle jumps up to 0, when I start the engine the needle stays at 0 instead of being drawn back down to about -14. If I give the engine a little bit of throttle when driving the needle will move to wards the minus (which it shouldn't) side of the gauge briefly then start moving towards the positive when I give it some heavy throttle the gauge seems to work as nor…

So far I'm very happy with my black 94 jdm s2 TT 2+2 auto. So far it's as pure as can be. Thinking of dropping some money on it at to bring it up to scratch. When I got it I was thinking of going wide. Now I'm not so sure. Gonna base part of my decision on answers to this poll, sooo... P.S. Please also post pics or links to the best zed you have ever seen, so that we get to see all of them in one place :smw:

Hi All, I need a answer to this. Are the electric window motors the same on a jdm 1990 300zx and a uk spec 92. My jdm drivers side motors knackered and I have another one lined up but it's off a uk model. I don't have a garage and with all of the rain we've had and work commitments I haven't been able to get the door card off and check part numbers. Has anyone came across this in their time??? Cheers

I have just received the de cats e.t.c from 2fast to 2cool and i must say they are great, excellent quality and a good price. I was wondering what their intercoolers are like ? If they are of the same quality as the de cats ? Hi all, For many years now I have been using BP Ultimate at 98 RON, but I wanted to know if Shell's V Power at 99 RON was any better for our cars. Does it make that much difference? Prob is that I collect 1000's of Nectar points with BP, if Shell do something similar that would be great. Any thoughts?

Hi guys, yet more on the old Hicas Light. I've checked the fluid level (ok), I've checked the fluid level switch (ok), and the light stays on. I've been reading back through old threads about steering angle sensors, but this only seemed to effect cars with aftermarket steering wheels. I've also tried putting the car into the Hicas Diagnostic but after about 20 attempts gave up. Please Help!! FYI the car is a J-spec manual, with the original steering wheel. The light comes on as soon as i turn the steering wheel to get out of my parking space. Mark

.   Hi all; Has any body got a clue what could be up with my Turbo timer; its a Greedy full timer; the car had a flat batt when i tried it the other day, so i started it with my jump pack, it then started beeping (the timer, not the car  ) After it had been running for some time i switched it off and it still was beeping. I tried to see if holding the on button would reset it but no luck. So i had to leave it with the ign off (still beeping) so the batt has gone flat again. I am; as i type this; charging the disconected battery. Any one got any thoughts on this one please. :nana2: :nana2:

Hi All Advice from the technically aware please... I've remeber a thread like this but can't find it I'm running 17" wheels at the moment. I've seen some 18's I like. What is the ratio between the profile for 17's and 18's to maintain the same overall diameter. The current 17's are 245/45/17... Anyone know the Answer ? is it 40 or 35 the ratio has to go to ? Thanks Tony

Can anyone tell me if there is anything difficult about fitting de-cats to a n/a? I have done some searches and found one post talking about blocking the hole for a sensor? Not sure what this it for? As far as I can see it pretty much bolts on and then just tie the cat heat sensors up out of the way? Is there anything more to it? Thanks

All is well on planet stu and the land of zed (at fooking last) drives lovley and quick. but, a few minor issues i need help on. 1. After a good drive, noticed the turbo boost gauge isnt working on the dash, but the tubs are defo working, there is a small hissing, possible vacuum hose, that ive forgotten about to the rear of the plenium, would this cause the gauges not to work? as everything else is fine? 2. Another good drive, get home, and notice the top rubber pipe to the rad is the size of a tennis ball, by the hard water pipe? this surley isnt normal? is it? 3. Let it cool down, and take out for a little spin, when i parked up, heard pipe pop and water…

Hello strangers! Every so often Zeds get brought up on driftworks and people discuss the merits of drifting them. Personally I don't think TTs are ideal for hard regular track work purely from a money point of view, and having owned three TTs that I tracked a little bit. The NA ones though would be a lot more practical. They are just as fast on anything twisty thats under 60mph and much easier to maintain. I remember at Brunters a couple of years back and slick Pete was one of the fastest in his stripped NA, compared to 300-400bhp TTs. One thing that most people who havn't drift don't really realise is that you don't need much power to drift. I learnt in a 140bhp…

I'm looking at getting some alloys for my zed. At the mo it has Uk spec standard alloys, staggered on the back. In people opinions is it best to keep the staggered set up? Iv seen a nice set of 18s but they are 8 inchs front and back. Does anyone run this type of set up? Any adverse handling effects? ta
