Just purchased a chromed one of these for the Zed....was sold as fitting NA like mine put one connection is missing. Any gen on how i can rectify this or route yellow circled one somewhere else....or is it needed?

Hi Paul, A zed im looking at has a missfire on 1 cylinder...now i know you can't give an exact price but would you know a ball park figure for this sort of thing? (sorry cant PM).. thnks Ed

Having only a few days ago buried a close member of Jeff's family who passed away at Xmas, Jeff and the Mrs have today been at the hospital since early hours after Jamie was involved in a 5 car smash on the M1 and is in a serious condition. Jeff has asked me to pass on his apoligies to his many customers who since just before xmas have sent emails or left phone messages regarding their Zeds. He's tried to deal with work as best as possible since the death, but today unfortunately set him right back and for once, has had to put family before his passion of Zeds and those who use Zedworld. He will be back on track asap. Cheers smithy

Just wondering if anyone knows what the problem with my zed is. when im driving everything is fine and normal and when it comes to me slowing to a stop (traffic lights / roundabout etc) the revs seem to drop and the engine cuts out. the only way ive been getting round this problem is be breaking harder and then quickly blipping the throttle to keep my revs up. this isn't exactly ideal, has anyone got any suggestions as to what i should do next.???

ive just aquired a set of 350z gold brembo`s for less than £600 :D , which i thought was quite cheap. has anyone else got them fitted, is there a significant difference in braking and whats the maximum disc size i can go to. any info would be appreciated.

I dont drive my zed much. Went out and started it up half hr ago. When its warm what should it idle at? When the temp gauge got to the middle mine sits at bout 750rpm, sometimes dropping just a fraction below that. Thats in neutral. If I put it in park and sit with the foot brake on it goes up to just below 1000rpm. Is this normal? Cheers

My series 2 (airbag model cruise control is on a stalk) is not working. If I push the button on the right side pod to turn it on, the green light on the clocks to show that the system is active, does turn on... but when I use the stalk to engage it, nothing happens.... Any ideas?

My speedo isn't working at the mo and instead of stripping it i'm looking for a quick fix. sooo...... Do i get a Pogo Drive (sat nav and speed gun), a Road angel Navigator (also Sat nav and speed gun) or... Do i get a racelogic Performance box which can record 0-60 runs, 1/4mile, bhp, g's etc. All of the above will display my speed. The sensible option would be a all in one sat nav and speed gun thingy but which one??? I think the Pogo aka origin one is the better one but not sure. Or do i go for the gadget, racelogics performance box?? I really could do with a sat nav and speed doo dar but the performance box is a want thing.

Saw it go past the broadmarsh centre (where the busses are) then over the bbc round about next to the shell garage. Only saw the back, had the strip lights and it was black.

I have a 300zx n/a that needs a new set of down pipes and cats, can anybody tell me if turbo down pipes are the same or are they different or is it just the turbo elbows? Thanks very much. Jason

Hi all, Does anyone have a second hand coil pack for sale? Am running on 5 cylinders and my car's missing. (No jokes please.....I know where I've left it he he). Managed to figure out that it's a coil pack that I need, it seems to be making a clicking sound and when I touch the metal bracket I get a small electric shock. Does anyone know if they can be fixed? If not roughly how much are they and where can I get one? Cheers!

Might be missing some thing in a news letter, but what happened to car of the month??

Hi all, Drove the other day and the car drove like pants, coughing and missing. Still ran ok, but you could feel it was missing. Checked under the bonnet and found that cylinder No.1 nearside had sparks coming from it, between the coil pack and the connector. So I fiddled around with it and made no difference. Disconnected it and re-connected it and the revs made no difference. The next day started it and ran great, like it was on 6 and no sparks, but when I disconnected the the connector, it still made no difference to the revs, so I pressume I'm still running on 5. Does anyone know off-hand if its a dead coil pack or spark plug.....or something el…

hey guys just looked over a 1992 k uk auto tt last week and when i took it a test drive it seemed ok. but after driving for about 5 mins, when i floored it the boost guage went up but there was no surge in power. and there was a belt squeal and some kind of "whoosh/rattle" kinda sound, this was at 40-45 mph. when i stopped and spoke to the guy i said there must be turbo problems. he tried to start it up and it wouldnt go. then discovered no petrol in car. after the initial test id already decided to walk away. guy text me half hour later saying running great with no problems after putting petrol in it. said it was air con belts making noise. now, if it was just petrol, wo…

What is it that a zed owner would like to see at a garage , friendly honest staff , fixed prices , cheaper prices , want to ask the people that matter , any input welcome , anyone had bad experineces that has made them sceptical of zed garages

Can anyone tell me if/where you can buy the connectors for the wiring looms. I am hoping to make up complete new looms using aircraft grade wire,(Heat proof, much smaller diameter and greater flexibility etc)with the hope of re-routing and moving some of the components. Many thanks Tony. :confused:
