what does everyone think a uk tt is worth or what should i be expecting to pay if its under 2k am i buying into trouble? any comments welcome big decision time

Have the fast road auto boxes become gold dust? Seems mine was the last one to change hands on here and that was ages ago. I assume that now SE Nisstek have gone and Z-Tech no longer do them, its gonna become qute a sought after piece of used kit.

what are the difference's between the na and tt auto boxs? and is a na compatible on the tt?

I can't decide if to fit my new wheels now on when i get the car kitted, i was going to save the wheels until i get the car kitted but i'm not sure i can wait. would 295's and a 10" rim sit ok on stock arches?

Anyone come accross this one before? Rather nice, few things to see in the factory. I wonder what became of that car...

my zed failed its ticket on fumes could this be down to the afc set up to run 14psi see my theory is this - its set up to run 14psi but obviously when you rev the engine without load no boost is being used so at 5000rpm theres no boost but its putting in 14psi worth of juice which is big over fueling so would this cause it to fail on fumes ??? advice please if this couldnt be causing what other possibilities should i look at ??? regards jim

Team, My car is an auto that is undergoing a manual conversion :hyper: at the moment. My question is will my car always need an auto ECU (with the big 23 on it) or can I at the same time switch to a manual ECU (with the big 22 on it). I am uprgrading to 555cc injectors so I don't have the same melt down as I did on std injectors. I have a number of ECU's so need to know which one to 're-chip to 555cc or even if it does not matter. Questions, questions... 1. What exactly does the "hold" button do on the auto box? the boost gauge indicator still moves, but there is less power/tprque... 2. Is the petrol consumption lower when in "HOLD" mode? If yes then by how much approx? 3. Is there an aftermarket steering wheel that has the Cruise control buttons built in for a TT? 4. Are the turbos the same size and boost on the TT? i'm sure they are sequential, but is there a way to get them both running at the same time? would that even make any sense? thank you

Ok i saw a previous thread on the price of oem engine mounts and a small tear run down my cheek. :cry: !!!!!!!!!!!!120 quid for one!!!!!!!!! :nelson: I also found a thread on the replacement of the oem mounts with ford truck mounts which are cheaper and probably stronger. Now has anyone actually tried this mod? To be able to filedown the original mounting bracket the engine would have to be out, surely theres not enough space to work? I wanna change my mounts but dont wanna have to go thru the trouble of removing the engine either do i want to spend £240 for new mounts. Check this out

heading into london this morning at about 8.45-9am in the outside lane stuck in the traffic jam. jap i think, with non-OEM spoiler and possibly a graphic on the side. I was going the other way in my red one.

Hi Guys - not been a member long, but i have a ZX, well sort of. it is in japan still waiting to be shipped. my problem is - i am sure the front spoiler has changed. i just want some conformation from people who see these day in and day out from all angles. i have been looking at these for a while now with a view to getting one. one of the reasons i liked the car was that the front spoiler looked a little different 9well it did). to me - the standard front spoiler reminds me a little of a 928 the way the lights are in the bumper then the spoiler sweeps under. the one i bought seemed to have a slightflair out at the bottom, detail at the sides, and look…

Hi, Looking at electronic boost controllers and have done a quick search, everyone seems to favour the Greddy profec B -spec 2, is this firstly enough equipment on a stock car with free flow exhaust and intake and chip to run at high enough psi to get around 350 at the flywheel? (the car is in good working order) Secondly, an easy kit to install and thirdly, have resale value? As i ideally want this for around a year while i save for a higher spec engine and aem etc :hyper: oh and is this the right greddy part number - Part number: 15500210? Cheers for any help! Ste

Dear fellow 300ZX lovers, I need work done on the zed! I need advice as to where and when to have it all carried out. I need estimates of know how long it will take and how much it will cost. All advice is much appreciated. I would like to hand the car over for X days and get it back with everything on here done. in one go. No timewasting I need to find suppliers who have the following asap so they can be fitted with the rest;1. Rear side reflectors in white or smoke (Mmmmm…) 2. Same momo handbrake handle as steve-300zx 3. New windscreen wipers all round! 4. Right-side pod but only in perfect condition! 5. Rearview mirror but only in perfect condition! …

Hi all. My brother has just had a replacment engne fitted in his skyline (rb20det) a compression test was carried out when engine was fitted and all was ok, but problems have started to arise since it's been run , so another compression test was done and no5 cyl is reading 0 the rest i think are relativly within tolerance,,,, my question is what would cause no compression in no5 when all the rest are pretty ok........ thanks Jay ps. i can get more detailed info if its required. cheers

Took the bumper off my car and found only one horn. Went to halfords and got some horns as I belive there shuld be two. Can anyone tell me if the Z has positive activated type or earth activated type. Also will I need to fit te relay that came with the or just connect the wires up and see what happens? Cheers Steve
