Some of you may remember that I had my own site called 300zx-mods.co.uk. Shortly after the Zed went off the road I stopped updating this and a year later didn't bother renewing. I was browing the hard drive on my PC last night (found some interesting stuff but that's another story). I found all the write ups with step by step instructions and step by step picture guides that I wrote. Each blog gives details and pictures of exactly what screws and clips you need to undo to get parts off, tips and tricks of removals and anything else you would possibly need to do the job yourself. i've bought and changed the brake disks again few days ago with 310mm Grooved Roters and now i get a strong vibration when i brake a bit harder from hight speed ,don't know exacly what is it..the disks or the wheels or some bushes ....any ideeas?? i get the wheels balanced again maybe tomorrow and see how it is after...and also in the summer i dropt the car down about 30mm and i've got kyb shoks all around and now is wearing the front tires inside bad and that's way i'm thinking what can it be ..the bushes or i need the adjustable upper link arms...any help will be much appreciated

Does anyone know the spec of my getgreddy chip? I think they were based on a JWT chip well that's what he told me anyway but i can't find any spec on it. Can someone confirm this please and if it is based on a jwt i can get the spec from their website.

I have a pair if Viper Wings that need prep'd and painted but was wondering if any members have put any mesh on the vents on the wings? Just a thought maybee but then again I might just leave as they are. Any pics welcome as well. Cheers John

just fitted a complete cream leather with red piping interior over the weekend, makes the car look great. :hyper: so glad to get rid of the tweed interior.

I got asked today what the difference was and i didn't know? I seen the 240 when i was in Canada and to look at it's the same as the 200. Is there any difference under the bonnet??

Very curious to know what silly things people have done over the years, be it by accident on purpose or just plain stupidity. For example: Like last week while on the way to the tracking garage i tryed to show off doing a U turn but ended up hitting a kurb and bending a wishbone , i just fitted new inner hicas bushes which also bent. was literally right out side the garage so ended up just limping home. Wont be doing that again too soon. :mac1: :mac1: So what you guys done? and come on i know you lot are far from angels :rofl: :rofl: this should be interesting.

just looked at this guide and got very confused :confused: http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm i have parts from both, can any body help? its a 1992 Uk TT mannual, heres my differences 1) Front seat belts are on the pillar, - series 2 2) Did have 3 point rear seat belts before i removed them, - series 2 3) No electric seats, - series 1 4) 2 speed fan, - series 1 5) cruse control on steering wheel, - series 1 6) no heated mirriors, - series 1 I hope my cars not a cut and shut lol, i thought it was a series one but it seems a lot of work to change seat belt fixing points etc :confused:

Of all the sports cars I have driven, I find the Z32's steering is not as good as I would like. How do I achieve a sharper turn in? I can't see any guides for improving the feel. Has anyone tried any mods to help?

went all the way to barnsley this weekend to see my sister in law only to find a filly kitted zed a few doors away in a sort of goldy pearl colour, i was gonna knock on the door but i was too p***ed all weekend, also on the drive was a gold subaru legacy, is this anyone on here

In a que to get on the M32 this morning, saw a silver 300zx with Lambo Rear lights and strosek front bumper. Looked very nice.

I tried posting this int Help Advice section but didnt get much of an answer so ill try here. Ok i know people say to just cut and wiring in the 2k headlights into the old headlight loom as the connectors are different. But there must be a wiring loom that the 2k zeds had to fit the 2k headlights that would be a simple plug and play method wouldnt there?? I know its probably the hard way to do this but i dont want to cut wires on my $2000 dollar headlights if there is a plug and play method. The other idea i have is to have an adaptor made up that will connect the old 2 connector headlight loom into the the new single connector 2k lights. All i need to know now …

Spent tonight Getting rid of the dreaded tweed.I'm high as a kite and ther's glue everywhere,light switch,door handle,toilet flush,the dog.....!Our lass is not pleased. :rofl: :rofl: :slap:

Helllllppp .... anyone know if you can replace the 2 threaded bolts sticking out from each front wing (right next to the headlamp) that secure the front bumper? One of mine has snapped and I reckon the others might go the same way. On the inside of the wing the "head" of the bolt is just a round black smooth disc, but without prising it out I cant see how it fixes in place. Can you get replacements from Nissan or am I going to have to try and find a way to fix a new bolt in there and maybe weld it in place??? Cheers Rich

Now add to that a full polybush kit, lower/stiffer springs/dampers (a la KYB kit) SPL adjustable camber arms front and rear, adjustable torsion bars, strut brace front and rear and uprated anti-roll bars front and rear. Add to that a nice new set of superlight 18" alloy wheels and some very sticky yokohama tyres and what have you got? no really.... what have you got? just how good would all that be? could it keep up with a modern sports car on the twisty bits? would it be usable as a daily driver? anyone got a full monty set up on here?
