finally got my zed back on the road and now have a new water leak. its coming from the rear end of my engine and using my limited knowledge i've worked out that its the pipe leading to the heater matrix as it only leaks after the engine comes up to temp. am i on the right track? if i am does anyone have any part numbers or any information on how to do this job. thanks

Anyone know where I can get EGR blanking plates for the plenum? I'm installing Smithy/Leon headers with no EGR hook up so the EGR must go. Z1 has them in stock for $45 but it will cost another $40 for shipping. I know a few people have made their own, maybe someone made a couple extra or would be willing to machine a few. Failing that, do any local traders carry the 300 degree kit?

Out of curiosty how much would someone fit these for?

I'm trying to change the steering rack gator today but the track rod end to get it off does not want to shift, tried penetrating spray and heat..... Any ideas??

my car has a hole in the rear of the carpet in my zed, do they come in two halves ie: front and back, or is it all one piece, is it an easy change how much am i lookin at to buy one

Im getting a knock from the back when putting in gear and releasing the clutch like a thud, probably from rear dif, :mad: does anyone know which bush or mount needs replacing for this? its amplified when in reverse and releasing the clutch to drive backwards???

I just got a TT donor car it runs poorly but i think it has the wrong ecu the part # is 23710-30p11 but i cannot find a ecu guide to look it up any one know if this is the right ecu ? if not i can just put my project ecu in and flash a tt config to it ;)

Hi guys, sold my Zed at the start of the year and just wondering how it's doing, still miss the beast!

Has anyone used these or something similar? I just want that low ride look without spending too much.

just done an oil change and it was all going fine until i was tightening the sump plug and think i tightened too much as it then became turnable by hand. have i sheared the plug or the sump casing?? the sump would be alot worse. I have a sump plug from ebay with a magnet on. I am hoping this is the softer part and would of sacrificed or is this false hope??? do halfords do 300zx sump plugs or how much will nissan charge me? hope to get a reply from one of you guys in time for me to go to the shops before they shut. my big question is will i more likely need to replace the plug or the sump???

I love my zed and provided i can pay to keep it running for 100 years i would drive it for 100 years^^ i also thought that this is a sensible investment as when it gets to classic car age 20-25 years it would be worth more. it seems that people are in a hurry to sell these and sell em cheap.... Even high spec ones..... whats going on...? is this because of the market crash or are they only going to kep falling and falling fast. i looked last year and a descent one would be 3-4 k and really good or high performance were going up to anything like 10k. this year a descent one seems to be 2-3 . i know that as tax gets higher the interest for these big super car…

Hi All, Just pulled the recircs off (I have Blitz BOVs, been running these for a while with the standard recircs in place). Thought I might as well junk the old recircs whilst the engine was out. I now need something to effectively and reliably plug the hardpipes where the recircs were fitted. Anyone done this? What did you use?? I also need a few rubber covers to blank off various vacuum take offs from the balance bar etc (removed EGR and AIV) - these seem to be easily available in the US but not over here...any ideas anyone??
