Just a quick one but I have lost the heat from my heater...

There are no leaks and every thing else is working ok. The flow going in is hot but the out is cold..

Could it be the thing is blocked or is there some kind of electronic valve or stat that is not opening???

under the drivers side dash the is a valve on one of the heater pipes with a cable that is what controls the flow take the cable off and move it by hand to the middle and try that

There is a tap type valve that is cable operated by a solinoid which is controled by the heater ecu

 

sounds like the solinoid isnt working for some reason, I dont think the cable would have come off or broken. I wouldnt have thought it would be blocked or you would have other cooling problems.

 

Dash out job tho :(
