Right hyperphtically, if I had an na slicktop and a tt slicktop from the same year, how easy would it be to convert the na to twin turbo? I ask because our bodyshop has really annoyed me as my zeds untouched.... Seen a nice na on eBay, as well as been offered one on here, both less then I was paying to repair the body of my current slicktop... With a complete donor( having alot replaced/ rebuilt) is it a viable alternative?

Hello guys. Ik can buy some 2nd hand wheels from a R33. The front need spacers though. The guy has some hubcentric spacers that bolt on but the original lugs are protuding out of the spacers so the wheels can't be mounted. What should I do. Buy shorter lugs or buy these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H-R-Spurverbreiterungen-15mm-fur-Nissan-Infiniti-200-SX-S14-300-ZX-Z32-350-Z-Z33-/381600421508?hash=item58d9285684:g:ADQAAOSw7n9XEiQw Thanks for the help.

  8. Hi all My car has just this afternoon started running lumpy. On idle and driving. I could desperately use someone local with some know how. I can hear a hissing noise from down by the brake servo but can't see anything myself. I have a day booked with Jimmer next week but ideally need it running well again before driving 200 odd miles to get to Jims.:( If anyone has advice or is local and would like to help a fellow zedder put? ?? I'd be eternally grateful.

It's been years since I last did this and the head unit has been out of my car for over a year. There is no quick connecting block so would appreciate someone giving me a quick reminder on what wires are what in the back of my dash or a diagram. Its a J spec if that makes any difference.

Hi Z'eders, i'm selling my Z on this forum Forum Link , and also stuck it on ebay Classified eBay Link , but got no interest so far, would appreciate any pointers, am i way of the mark on price?? or is there just no interest in these cars atm, since i assumed they were finally becoming a sought after classic. yes i could keep hold of her, but could really do with releasing the money tied up in her. cheers

Having returned off holiday I got to grips with changing the power steering hose! Also replaced my 4 induction pipes. Now I place box into drive & it will not engage! Place into 2 it engages then if I move lever into Drive it engages normal! Auto diagnostic shows No 3 fault. Can changing the induction pipes cause this problem? No rattles or mechanical noises from the gear box & no issues before. I have checked the connections.

was thinking along these lines, just a quick mock up so don't slate me Lol! Sidelights, Brake lights, Indicator,it is yellow just not on Camera!, on its own, I'm thinking three sets per side, only the two outer ones for the light and the inners will be all red for fogs. Thoughts?

  13. Hey, My Zed rebuild continues and I recently reattached the rear lights (not shiny new ones like I hoped or planned, they'll have to wait until later on...) Anyway, when I push my fog light button, my front fogs come on, but the rear tail lights also come on, is this normal? On a slightly separate note, my washer motors wont do anything. I haven't been able to test if its the actual motors as didn't have a multi meter with me, but they used to work three years ago, so for both to fail when sitting doing nothing seems unlikely. I just wondered if there's a relay or something that can fail? Fuses seem to be ok. Cheers!

Hi, I've just seen this wear on my rear p/s wheel!!! Any advice on what I need to do to prevent this when I fit new tyres would be most welcomed. How good is this hunter Hawkeye set up at quick fit? Cheers

  15. Just before going for a quick spin, I thought I would just check a couple of things like exhaust mountings, break lines etc' Lucky I did, I discovered that my front cross member has collapsed on the front near side due to corrosion! I cant believe how bad it looks, so gutted to say the least! Looks like a very difficult job to me, so distraught at the moment. Especially with the Coventry meet just around the corner and my MOT in a months time! I could really do with some experienced advise as to how to approach this one, I am worried that it could be the end of the car. Please see pictures below, 3 of the near side and 1 of the far side.

Whilst replacing my cats, I noticed my oil cooler hose is leaking where it joins the hard pipe. I wanted to replace both of the hoses in the diagram (21355mb and 21355mc). Does anyone know if these are available in the UK, from anywhere other than Nissan? I did notice Z1 sell them if I can't get them over here.

  20. Thursday I drove over three mountains, and every time I was going down, the coolant temp started to drop and after a long period of coasting, engine braking, and light to zero load the needle would go all the way to the bottom. Then as it flattened out the temp gauge would normalize. Any ideas? I bought a new thermostat which I'm gonna fit when I do my timing belt but could it be something else? I should say that under normal driving conditions everything is normal.

Hello everyone, I am picking up the gear this weekend to start learning carbon fibre resin infusion. I am have a bunch of cheap fabric to learn with; and plenty of nicer material including carbon Kevlar etc for when I start building final parts. My aim is to create some gorgeous looking and strong aftermarket but oem shape parts for both the interior and exterior. I have searched some previous threads and sites and would like to compile a list of what is currently available and what people would like to see made. Seeing as some of this will require moulds to be build I would intend to be able to build the parts to order eventually (at which point a trader …

I was after some advice. I've just removed the cats from my 1989 tt manual, because they're blowing. I wondered if these would fit? http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-TURBO-NON-TURBO-STAINLESS-STEEL-DE-CAT-DECAT-DOWNPIPE-EXHAUST-/230713275628?nav=SEARCH It concerned me that the ad states that they won't fit cars with pre cats. I've always been wary of removing the cats in case it reveals any turbo issues. There is no sign of any oil in the turbo elbows, is this a promising sign?
