I am thinking of selling my twin exit exhaust its off a 94 tt lwb but can not find out what make it is i think it might be a Jasma but have just found this write up on another site. JASMA = Japan Automotive Sport Muffler Association is a certification for exhaust systems in Japan. It is not a brand. JASMA means it's legal in Japan Does anybody know if this is right.

Hi Guys Have been reading through the mountain of aircon threads but cannot find out what the original amount of R12 was used to charge the aircon system. If I have understood what I've read! Advice seems to be: - 90% of original charge for R24 (direct R12 replacement) - 70% of original charge for R134A - Add PAG oil as it is compatible with original mineral oil So does anyone know how much R12 was originally in the system and how much PAG oil should be added. Hi People I could do with some advice. My car has been at a body shop for a long time !!!! i could do with starting it, as i have been told an idle engine, is BAD. It probably has not be run for 8 months to a year. Can you advise what the best method is of starting the engine without damaging the engine / bores. Some people say that you can break rings score bores etc. What is the best method? The car has a new TT engine which has only done 2000 miles. Someone told me to remove the plugs, heat some oil until it smokes, then pour a bit into each cylinder, leave for a while to penetrate, fit plugs etc, then turn over and run. Is this correct? o…

hi, does anyone know how to fit a hks type 1 turbo timer to a uk spec 300tt because all the fitting instructions are in japanese lol so im finding it a little harder than i expected, cheers.

engine back in today...many many thanks Matt aka MTL ....anyways the power steering belt i had was for earlier series zeds they have bigger power steering units than mine so what i wanted to know is there a v-belt for the series 4 power steering which has a equiv to be found in halfords etc so i can crack on tomorrow cheers

I am aware that TT exhausts from manifold down will fit N/A but I have today picked up a SWB N/A and it needs Cat back exhausts and am wondering if 2+2 and swb cat backsyatems are the same, please advise. Jase

Hi can anyone help? Need this little lot for the Profec B install. I've tried loads of people - I've not found anyone who can supply all of this under one roof:- Need the following to complete my Turbo boost job:- 3m 1/4 hose (6.25mm) (silicone preferably) Black 12 hose clips for above 2 x 1/4 hose joiners 2 x 1/4 tee pieces. 2m 4mm (0.157inch) ID vacuum line - Black Can someone either supply it all or point me to someone who can? many thanks Chris

just want to say thanks to all that gave input..on problem with no spark at plugs.so thanks to all on here and thanks to geoff at zedworld who also mentioned the hcas lead i cleaned the hcas and cleaned the ptu now shes running fine :)again thanks all:bow:

when i bought the car, i was told it just needed a converter, but im not sure thats correct. ive got 180 clocks but the needle seems to be going in kmh eg if i do around 60 mph the speedo will read approx 100 on the clock and if i do around 100 mph the needle will run off the clock at around 180 can anyone help,as i dont think a converter is the answer????

does anyone no if the mongoose system is any good for a 300 tt auto, cheers

I recently found this old chap sitting under a tree in Foxhole of all places, there should be laws against this sort of abuse, this poor car had 345 BHP and was probably one of the best known cars in Torbay in 2006 and now look at it. If anyone knows the owner please be sure to tell him he's a f#cking joke and I will willingly buy it back not only to save the poor car, but he clearly doesnt deserve such a stunning and well known 300ZX as this one and should be seperated from it ASAP! just thought i would do my introduction here. ( bare with me) my names is mike most ppl call me macpherson i stay up in the highlands of scotland, (near loch ness monster) lol so far ive had a rover 400 (first car) an xr3i which i did an engine rebuild on and then a pug 306 xsi. im now after something faster and good looking and always like the looks of 300 zx. im wanting to buy my first one got a minimum of 1500 to spend. im not guna lie i dont no much at all about these cars but i do hope to learn :)

My steering wheel is looking a bit worse for ware, I was thinking of replacing it with a 350z wheel, will it go straight on without modification and does anyone know where I could get one from?

Hey guys I have forged internals, doolz intake, nismo 555's and the Z1 600 tubs. The guys at the garage are telling me that I need bigger injectors to map the car any higher than 450 ish? I thought my injectors would go at most to 555? any thoughts?
