I've never liked having clutter on the dash, ruins the nice swooping lines of it, so something like this makes perfect sense. I had thought about getting an Apexi AVCR and hiding it away in the centre consol. But I think I'll go down this route.

Searched but couldn't find what I was looking for. I want to swap out the original Jap spec indicators for the clear ones. Any issues? Do the clear ones screw in the same way to the Zed bumper? The bulb holes look slightly different on the ebay ones I've seen. These are mine:- ta Chris

  5. I've never really got on with chamois leathers, they leave streaks and when new, need to be cleaned for ages to get the tanning dye out of them. Then they perish and fall to bits after a while. The alternative, synthetic chamois are crap. They just don't seem to absorb fluid and end up feeling like you're drying the car with a damp towel...which leaves streaks and all sorts. Also, chamois leathers collect dirt easily. About 10 years ago, I'd gotten fed up with my chamois leather and ended up finding an old Speedo type sports towel that I used to use at swimming galas. I've had the same thing since. It's fantastic. Acts a little like squeegee, but is soft and eas…

10 months clear and now scratches over near side wing and door. Starts off faint like a three pronged someting. Maybe a kids bag with a buckle I thought. A wavey line. But then for about 2ins the scratches feel deeper and look clear as if through the paint then lighten again onto the door. So any advice please. I know Tcut wont do it, but have heard of something else on hear. Never used a one, but can get the use of a electric buff. Sorry to go on so long but I'm sure many of you know how it feels. Happened between 10.15pm and 8.10am. So I've ruled out a kids bag on the way to school as it,s street parking.[metalic]

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on my turbo problems and preferable give me good news rather than "it's knackered" or "start saving" but I fear that maybe the outcome. Ok the problem. The drivers side turbo had been making a sort sueeling sound under hard acceleration sporadically and the boost was limited to the 0 mark on the boost gauge. This was fine as it only happened once in a while but 2 weeks ago the car completely refused to go past 0 and would just keep revving but with no extra boost. Up until this point the boost is as usual strong and feels like normal, but as soon as it hit's zero then power delivery is stunted. …

Hey all, does anyone know of an easy way of gettin the small pulley off the end of the crank shaft so I remove it? (at the front, the small on behind the main crank pulley) Everything else has been removed, but can't seem to remove the crank shaft without taking this off. Is it just a case of pulling it off? I've got a puller, but there is very limited room to get aroung the pulley, so no use... Cheers...

SYNTHETIC? What is it and what does it really mean? The Oxford Dictionary says: “made by synthesis; manufactured as opposed to produced naturally” When it comes to oil we think of synthetics as the best that we can buy and that all synthetics are the same but, it’s not so simple. Synthetic oils are not all the same, some are manmade in laboratories with uniform sized molecules and represent the finest quality that money can buy; others are merely highly refined mineral oils also known as hydrocracked oils. So, some synthetics are not really synthetics at all in the true sense of the word and certainly not from a chemists point of view. Granted,…

  21. As above. I have been told that the main differences on the NA and the TT was, the TT sump has the cooler feeds and regulator. Then the NA has different piston oil squirters and the heads have a much smaller combustion chamber. Anyone know for sure what the differences really are. Iknow for sure about the oil squirters

Hi guys, Been looking at 300 zx's for a while and I have always loved them, I still don't know too much about them though (mainly because many people say different things!) I am planning on buying a 91 twin turbo that has 80,000 miles. Its all standard for the mo. I wanna gut it and strip it out and only have the basics in, none of this a/c and electric seats etc. I have a few questions though! How much weight woukld I be able to remove from the car?? I wanna go pretty extreme, no back seats, no a/c, buckest seats and pretty much take out all the weight I can. How many KG's do you think I could shave off the factory weight? Also, I have read …
