hi guys, im havin problems with my n/a z32 overheating its only started cince ive had the engine swaped but im sure its all plumed in rite. if i keep it under 3000 rpm it runs at the rite temp unless i turn the engine off 4 a short time, like getin fuel, and if opened up it gets hot as well. the only original parts of the system are the thermastat which i think it could be and the pump it may be an air lock but im not sure how to bleeed it to check. if it helps ive got a tt rad, cilicone hoses and an electric fan kit any help would be grate as this is 1 of the last little problems ive gotta sort to get it running spot on , cheers

Saw a nice grey one this morning at 8.30 on the roundabout under the m32 in hambrook bristol. Sounded like an auto with stock exhausts. Had aftermarket wheels but not sure what type as they were spinning round.

Hello all! my TT has been running like a bag of nails for a while now I have checked everything I can but all fine, ran ECU test and Im sure a different code came up first? like 34 or 43?? but then code 55 and stayed code 55 after that! the idle is lumpy going up and down from 400-900rpm sometimes cuts out, I can smell fuel at times but no fuel leaks. I cleaned every connector I could see with most of them with blue corrosion on but no change so I took connector off TPS which was dirty so cleaned it up and now im sure the zed runs worse, even more lumpy? So could this be a dodgy TPS?? Can it be adjusted?? I dont want to pay for a consult if I can help it but I have checke…

Right i was changing the air filters on my 300 and was rather shocked to find this wreckage Firstly, how on earth do you think this happened as there is no damage to the lower guard, o2 sensor or any shrapnel. Secondly is it important? And thirdly, can i replace it or do i have to buy the whole unit? (for those who havn't cottened on yet its one of the mesh sceens that is at either end of the oxygen sensor unit situated between the two air filters at the front of the car.[this being the upper guard]) My second topic is that of the fuel filter. there is supposed to be a 3" long section of rubber tube within the "in" nozzle on the fuel filter, and i am wonde…

a topic that hardly seems covered - i take it the under-bonnet insulation is there to help the engine warm up faster, but how many of you have decided to lose it to help reduce the average running temperature?

Are they all spray painted in the factory finish or moulded with a colour in the blend? Also is the outer trim removeable/swapable? As per my 'item wanted' post...i need to know if they're all sprayed or hold out for a gunmetal (faster:) )one.. I'm looking for a mirror......I need an offside/drivers mirror trim, (top part and outer edge surround or maybe the whole unit if you can't/won't split) ...Preferably gunmetal grey...someone rolled a van (pushing it down my mates street) into mine and cracked it this evening :-( let me know if you might have one... 07818 607568.

I've never liked having clutter on the dash, ruins the nice swooping lines of it, so something like this makes perfect sense. I had thought about getting an Apexi AVCR and hiding it away in the centre consol. But I think I'll go down this route. :cool:

Searched but couldn't find what I was looking for. I want to swap out the original Jap spec indicators for the clear ones. Any issues? Do the clear ones screw in the same way to the Zed bumper? The bulb holes look slightly different on the ebay ones I've seen. These are mine:- ta Chris

Hi All The guys at the garage are fitting the racelogic unit but below 20mph it stops seeing the front speed sensors? Any ideas?

I've never really got on with chamois leathers, they leave streaks and when new, need to be cleaned for ages to get the tanning dye out of them. Then they perish and fall to bits after a while. The alternative, synthetic chamois are crap. They just don't seem to absorb fluid and end up feeling like you're drying the car with a damp towel...which leaves streaks and all sorts. 10 months clear and now scratches over near side wing and door. Starts off faint like a three pronged someting. Maybe a kids bag with a buckle I thought. A wavey line. But then for about 2ins the scratches feel deeper and look clear as if through the paint then lighten again onto the door. So any advice please. I know Tcut wont do it, but have heard of something else on hear. Never used a one, but can get the use of a electric buff. Sorry to go on so long but I'm sure many of you know how it feels.
