Hi people, I have just taken out and checked 2 of my spark plugs and found that they are BOSCH PLATIN FR7DP1X and I'm assuming the other 4 are the same and thay look ok. I did a search on this site with no results. So my question is, are these plugs any good or should I bin them and get proper ones ? CheerZ Paul

I passed a black Z heading slowly east on the M4 (lane 1), before junction 15 (Marlborough) around 2ish this afternoon. I think the reg number ended in PCE, the driver was bald-ish (no offence, I am as well!!) I slowed down but couldn't wave as I was concentrating on not hitting the black Range Rover Sport crawling along at 69mpg in the middle lane. I was in a black Merc SLK. Anyone here - perhaps on the way to/from Z-tech? Richard:cool:

im thinking about some sideskirts - as ive never had them on my Z before i need to ask, how much do they 'lower' the car by? i ask because im pushing my luck just getting into the driveway and im worried i'll ground the sideskirts if they come down below the standard skirts too much.

Hi - My Zed's just failed it's MoT:cry: Main reason was "Nearside front steering rack gaiter split". Any advice on where's the best place to buy one? Also an 'advisory' that the fuel pipes are corroded. Is it a big job to change them?

I'm so jazzed up! Just sorting out the final details for my summer trip to the US. I planned it around a large annual Zfest. This year it's taking place in Tulsa (Oklahoma). Booked my flights to the US and my internal flights too. I speak to a lot of the guys over on 3ZC (our American chapter). Some I've already met on previous trips out to L.A and San Diego. http://www.midwestzfest.com http://www.midwestzfest.com/events.html There's loads going on and there are set to be cars/owners from across the midwest, and Southwest corner of the US and further afield. Not just that, but I'm flying to San Antonio in Texas to do a roadtrip convoy with some guys fr…

I have 3 knackered studs, 2 on the front and 1 rear. Need these fixed asap for the MOT so I guess it's a trip to the Nissan dealer for them. I have an import though, so how accommodating will they be? I know other Japanese manufacturers whose dealers will as good as throw you out onto the street at the first mention of import. So, I'm hoping if I can just give them the part number I want and bypass the whole VIN number ordeal. I'm hoping that somebody here can tell me the part numbers that I need.. please :)

Hi guys, only joined this forum today, so forgive me if I've missed a sticky or something on this... I've got my engine out, again, knackered piston (It's a 93 TT, Auto, Jap import BTW) and was wondering if there are any tips for removing the torque converter? Is it really those 4 bolts on the back of the fly wheel? They seem pretty much impossible to get to with a standard spanner or even an angled ring spanner. Is there any easy way to do this? At the moment I've got it sitting on blocks, and taking the cylinder head off today, she fell off, if it wasn't for me and my Dad's lightning reflexes and adrenaline fueled strength, serious damage could've been done! So I'm…

My UK Z continues to rust at the rear arches, even after having a full respray and numerous repairs including new metal welded in places. One idea i had is to fit a wide arch kit and zenon rear bumper (zcentre) to my Z as to cover the rust up, I know its not the best way to do things but if the rust is only on the outer arch its not particularly important to have it mint (correct???) As it only looks bad do you think i would get away with covering it with a kit, or would the bubbling paint interfere with the fitting of the kit? Cheers guys

My strosek Z is going to the bodyshop very soon and i need to decide what to do rear spoiler wise. I have removed the old foam spoiler and quite fancy a 99 spec one but cant decide if it will suit the wide arches? Other options i can think of are lower tailgate skin from z centre. Perspex strip with brake light Both of these would mean no spoiler. Looking for some inspiration!
