Hi All, Is it still possible to buy the front and rear window rubbers seals still? Because i want to take them out for when i have the car resprayed Thanks

I am playing with the idea of house of kolor metallic satin black with a satin lacquer top coat, with the rear spoiler gone it will look like a stealth bomber, anyone done this or know of people running satin finish and can give me some tips and advice

Right today i have fitted my boost guage. red= live black=earth orange to a 12V light. So i have done all that. I got the live and earth from the CD player which still works and the orange wire form the switch for the rear fog light with only come live when the main lights are on. O No somthing has gone wrong. I have no side lights, no rear lights.no lights on the dash but i do on the pods. Then when i go to put the main beam on the high beam comes on with them and the revs drop massivley??? Also when i put the car into any gear the revs increase by about 200rpm ???? I have no idea as it is a manual 1 Of the fuses had blown (10amp) so could it be down…

The very front of the dashboard where it meets the windscreen has started peeling upwards. You cant see it from the drivers seat but outside the car looking in you can see a thin brown strip at the bottom of the windscreen. Anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? cheers

Hi guys im now in the process of installing a sound system in my new 1993 300 zx SWB non turbo and have stumbled across a problem.:rolleyes: I need to find out which wires are which, the car has a factory fitted Bose system and I have 4 wires running to each of the rear speakers and I need to know which are which or at least which are the + & - speaker wires. :confused: I rang my local Nissan dealer :xxx: who couldnt help at all and frankly kept me at arms length because its a JDM car its kinda like having the plague owning an import 300 zx it seems.:hurl: So can anyone please please help me out here?:bow: Be cool Jase:cool:

Hi has anyone got one of these chinnese made front mount intercoolers from ebay fitted .Ive been told they are a copy of the HKS front mount, at £250 they seem a good buy but whats the quality like .They must be better than the stock side mounts for flow i guess .I think ill leave the cheap twin air filter set up of though will my single hks induction still fit above this cooler.thanks taff.:cool:

Browsing over at czp it appears to me :confused: that they offer the NGK IRIDIUM IX as an upgrade to the highly recommended NGK PRF6B-11B?? The Iridium ix can be purchased here at quite a reasonable price... Fair enough the price difference isnt that big but are there any real smoothness or performance gains to be had with the IRIDIUMs? any experiences or advice on these 2 variants?

Hi, well Z is out at last, but I notice I have a rust worm eating away my car. Specifically the rear wing and what appears to be the bits under the wing. And the sills I think. Are these huge expense?

What have you guys got planned? Certainly some ideas in the unique mod`s thread. Plans for me: Chipping the 16bit ecu somehow. Fitting a boost controler. Fitting the new wheels when they finally finish being refurbished. Make a replacement boot floor cover that`s light and doesn`t rattle about, along with some little tray things to store stuff under. The big plan that i`m thinking about is fitting a 99spec front, painting the roof bars black followed by a black 99 rear wing. Might have to photochop that soon. Last is to tidy up some of the interior trim. Redo a few bits of the grey Alcantara Edit: Forgot about sorting the tens…

Bar above the windscreen. Does the windscreen have to come out? Or can the rubber trim along the top be pulled back / replaced to hide the new paint edge? cheers jay

One last try, been going through alot of problems with my car over the last few months and starting to lose it with it now. recenltly had the following done. New Cambelt New Wiring loom Injectors cleaned and two replaced loads of gaskets and seals replaced including rear crank seal. PCV Valves with new hoses. Replaced Rad pipes Fitted New Fuel line kit New Radiator on its way as the old one is now losing water! Once this was done I thought the car was riunning great. Took it for a blast to celebrate, obviously a wrong move as when I stopped for a break and re-started it, it started to make a fluttering noise from behind the plenum and now seem…

The above was offered to me yesterday by a Mech friend. Manual in the box indicated the shock is manufactured by a company called Gasmatic Int. based in Basidon Box indicated its made fr 300ZX. does anyone know of this product as I'm tempted to buy it thanks

following the droplets of oil on floor, lookt in the engine bay. there is quite a bit of oil in there, splash over the battery etc. dipstick was out half an inch also. this too much pressure? sounds bad. car smokes a bit on high revs, but asume thats the turbo seals.. views please?

hi can anyone help me my speedo clocks have recently stopped working so i took them out today to check if there was any loose wires and to see if there was a speedo convertor which there is. i then put all the clocks back together took it out for a spin and my power steering wasnt working so i started all over again to check all the plugs and wires were connected all was ok took it out for a spin again worked for about 200 metres and the power steering stoped working again and then when you turn the ignition back off and then back on it works again for another 200 metres can anybody help??
