I had the exhausts done, was on the way home and i just had a huge amount of smoke trail, it looked like i was on the dirt road, at traffic lights i couldn't see the car behind or anything. Can someone please suggest what it is? Thanks for looking *Edit: Smoke is extremely bad out of the left one, and a tiny bit on the right one

I would like to know just what has happened to our club?? There was one time when we had regular meets and not too bad a turn out at events but lately it as all gone Pete Tong. I love my car and I really like meeting other people with the same passion for the 300zx but it has all thinned out. I pay my subs just like many others but I feel that we are not getting our monies worth. We should be showing off the 300zx at all the national meets and I believe the reason we are not is down to our clubs meet organisers. Dont get me wrong im not trying to have a go at anyone, i'm sure we all have busy lives one way and another but I do believe that if someone has been chosen to lo…

Hi all, Might be selling my car, but only if I can replace it with a CZ32. I've been talking to Takehito of F-S-Auto and he says he hasn't seen a SWB Slicktop Manual Series 3+ TT in Silver, Black, or White (not pearl) in months and months. Now he said if I went for a different colour (possible respray) or an Auto and he converts it to Manual I'll increase my chances. Any importers here or people that watch Autotrader et al more than me ever see these come up? Would an auto to manual conversion be as pukka as a born manual car? Full resprays, that sounds like pain and something I'd wanna do myself and in this country. Help…

As above is there anything I can adjust to stop my clutch slipping? It is fairly new so dont understand why its slipping already....it is a stage 2 XTD Clutch and new lightened fly-wheel. It generally does it in 5th when I am driving it, but when Dave drives it hard it slips in 3rd, 4th n 5th i think and stinks.... Is it just a case of a crap clutch or what? when first installed it was stinking and slipping a bit then settled down after 500 miles or so now slipping again, shall i change it again or anything I can try to adjust?:(

This is my first post on here, so I’d just like to say “hello” I’ve been a member for a couple of years and always followed the threads closely. I took the plunge last year and brought my first Zed - a 94 UK TT. Absolutely love it, the most awesome car I have ever owned !! Anyway, it’s developed a severe juddering / knocking through the steering wheel under braking. The offside tension rod bush is leaking, so I’m guessing this will be a good place to start to find a cure ? What are my best options to fix it – can I replace just the bushes, or do I need to replace both the rods? I’ve heard a few bad reports about Poly Bushes not giving enough movement and c…

Mines lost it's bling touch over the last 3 years of being off the road. The polished stuff has started to oxidise and started to show signs of rust spots. Was looking through the rides section and saw this picture of Smithy's Engine bay (hope you don't mind me posting it up). I have to say this is one of if not the nicest engine bay I have ever. Are all the polished bits chromed as well or is there some sort of lacqure on them ?

My wheels need a refurb. I've been thinking about this for 3 years now !!!. Keep then silver, go black chrome (don't like normal chrome) Or a nice deep gloss black. Even after 3 years I still can't make up my mind. I have a set of stock wheels at home. I think I'm going to paint them black and put them on the car to see how they look. Photoshop just doesn't seem to convince me to make a decision.

A few days ago my windscreen wash wipe and rear wash and wipe have stopped working. The front washes ok but does not wipe. Also intermittent wipe does not work properly, it wipes once when switched on but no intermittent wipe and wipes again when switched off. The rear was and wipe does not work at all. Any ideas ? would it just be a case of removing the switch gear, cleaning the contacts and refitting ? CheerZ Paul.

I am trying to buy a TEIN SS SUPER STREET COILOVER with EDFC for my Z, most of the sites I have chcked in the states all specified that they are only for US Specs..means if I purchase it they won´t fit on my Z32? european model? and why is that? On the other hand most of the companies I have seen them back in the states they won´t ship to International..so that laves me to the UK, does anyone knows of a place where I can buy them and have them shipped to Spain where I live? with the EDFC? obviosuly if some knows a place back in the states would be better, since the $$ vs euro is so lower..but hey! I´m not sure about that us specs comments means I couldn´t possibly fi…

I assumed these Tubs and injectors were supposed to be able to handle 24 psi. Since I'm fully run in and have done another oil change, I thought I'd start upping the boost little by little. Got up to 16 psi and had a little spike as you do to 17 psi. It was here I heard what I thought may have been a little det, so I upped agian to 16.5 and nothing (no spike) when I went to 17 psi I started hearing det on hard acceleration around 5.5 rpm. I can only assume that the chip I have is incorrectly mapped for my set up so looks like I need to get it mapped correctly. In the meantime I've put the boost back down to 15 psi. I currently have a twin pop with 1 du…

Anyone tried fitting one of these instead of an oil sandwich plate?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150258572207&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=005 Would appear they go where the original sender sits and provides 3 ports to tap into including somewhere for the original sender to go back. There is also an 18in extension pipe incase there is limited room where the original sender is situated. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160250552008&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006
