Does anyone know if he's still around? I Pm'd him a while back but not heard anything back....would be good if I could get in touch sooner rather than later... ...either that or anyone else have a sandwich plate for sale? I've been looking around for one that doesn't leak but it seems they all do! GReddy are supposed to be the best bet? Thanks in advance!

Went for a spin today with my mate in my 300ZX I gave it a foot full and it went as usual like Shite Off a Shovel then all of a sudden at full revs it lost all power I took my foot off and back on and the power was back full bore. This happened twice with no other symptoms of any problems??? Its not a limiter as that is not present. Any ideas what might make this happen please? vini

Does any1 have an idea of the ride comfort (lets base it on spring rate?) comparitively for the ground control coilovers and tein s tech springs? The tein spring rates are documented and dont look too 'back breaking' (200lbin front and 190lbin rear) but the gc setup, that i could find, is not printed. Madmarco is running a gc setup and he says its not bad too drive but is 'stiff', though i understand that gc have several different applications depending on what the customer desires... Has any1 experienced or can you shed some light on the differences between the 2 setups? Im currently running kyb agx and eibach set to mid settings for general road and motor…

Hi, there may be an answer to this already in the depths of our site, but can anyone advise on how I can get my zed valued. My reason is to get an agreed value for insurance. I know I have spent huge amounts of money, and improved the car, but if you look it up in the motor price guides it is not worth much at all. Any advice would be welcome.

Well...Insurance companies would you believe it. I am insured with Adrian Flux and my insurance has gone up £100 this year for no apparent reason. I questioned it and was told it is due to this, it is due to that and that the price was a good one. Soooooo I went looking elsewhere and got a quote over £160 less. Nowwwwww Adrian flux wants to negotiate on price. Funny that!!

Just wondering what the price for these is in the UK at the moment only I'm about to order some bonnet vents from my car/engine/aftermarket parts friend in Saitama and I'm half thinking of asking him to chuck in a pair for my other halfs NA. Can't really afford it right now but doing it all together could save a bit of money.

I was wondering if anyone on here has tried this ""Dual air intake kit" as found on ebay :) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310064552562&_trksid=p2759.l1259 its cheap, does that necessarily mean its nasty? it looks like it does the same job as the more expensive type? maybe the actual filters arnt as good, would there be enouogh space in the zed to replace them with larger filters in the future>? Many thanks in advance

Hi there being relatively new to the club, I was after a little advice, I have enherited a TT Auto, that has been in the family for many years and has had a ton of work, new turbos, auto box, however after two years of it sitting it has been given to me, I got her started and MOT'ed and it is a lot of fun! However knowing how this car almost bankrupt my folks!!!!! I have come a across an annoying problem, the engine is making some strange noises the first sounds like a bearing/belt squeek rattle the second is a kind of metal on metal rubbing noise which you can only hear when she is idling, its continuous however when she drives its fine. Any ideas? of what should be…

Does anyone know what road tax we will be paying next year? It's going to be based on CO2 emissions and will be up to £440 per year! What are the emission figures for an N/A and a TT?

The online manual is great and I use it a lot but I wondered if there is a downloadable / offline version of it as this would be very useful? I have searched but can't find any current links that work. Thanks

I need to test a few good known parts ie maf, ptu, idle valve to isolate my running problem. Hoping its not the o2 sensors. Cars running a tad rich on idle and very lump when pulling off, wants to cut out, oh i also noticed it cuts out while driving if you hold in the clutch and idles irratic. So help would be apprieceiated and all time&costs covered. Maybe i could lend a hand with installing a mod you have bought or with a problem your car has, just a thought. I would take the car back to scott but its too far away and dont fancy having it driven there in its current state, freshly rebuilt and all. erm "Someshiftyguy" (cough cough)

Ive been reading this forum since 2004 (though took me a while to subscribe!). I've just about got to the point where I feel comfortable discussing engine problems and planning upgrades as regards turbos, flywheels etc. But when you start considering other stuff like the suspension or brakes or transmission you get completely lost in the detail of all the things you can do to this car LOL Its so complex you wonder whether you will ever fully understand the Zed!! And by the way, which person actually DESIGNED all this in the first place? Which other cars has he designed since then (I would be interested to see his other ideas!)

Watching TG at the moment, they've killed some quite nice cars. Old 635CSi, Alfa Spiders, Fiat coupes etc. Do you think they'll one day buy a cheap Z32, abuse it and wreck it? I know some would love to see it, but I would absolutely hate to see one bought for peanuts and then distroyed. Wouldn't do anything for the model or value.
