Good day folks, I am pleased to announce that The Club has once again been accepted to exhibit at the NEC Classic Motor Show this November. Classic Motor Show | NEC Birmingham (necclassicmotorshow.com) It runs from Friday 10th November to Sunday 12th November..... Our stand in in hall 4 this year - number 4-595; it's 6m x 10.5m, so we can accommodate 3 cars comfortably or 4 at a squeeze; the exact plans to be determined nearer the time. But for now, I am looking for volunteers to exhibit. It's always a great show and you'll get to have your car on display to thousands of visitors - but it's a full-on weekend. You have to deliver your car there at a fix…

I’ve only got the red spare key with the car so I ordered a new 300zx black master from Amayama (KEY0000095). Took it to my local key cutter and it’s the wrong key apparently! It does look slightly different to be fair. So first question, are there more than one master key? Does anyone know the part number? Mines a 1993 JDM. And the the one above is available if anyone wants, it cost me about £13 so happy to sell for that plus postage. Second question, I’m also going to order a nice titanium one and would like to get it cut off the original spec, research shows that a sticker in the glovebox has the code, mine has long gone, but my red key has a 4 digit cod…

Whilst at the Chiltern Hills Rally yesterday (more on that shortly....), I was looking around a trade stand that sold garage signs, on the remote chance they would have a 300zx one...... ......To my surprise, they did - for £20! The only one I found, by lucky coincidence, happened to feature a blue Zed. Whilst waiting for the card machine to connect, the seller and I got chatting and he joked about charging me double because my Zed was the same colour....... Then upon looking closer, I spotted the featured Zed had the same wheels as mine. And the same Stillen front lip - and then, I noticed it sported the very same two stickers I have in my windscreen. It was a …

Hi all. Wanted to pick your guys brains to see if anyone can remember who made these old OEM replica spoilers? This photo is of my first zed that I owned from 2015-2017 and it already had an aftermarket fibreglass OEM replica spoiler fitted. For me, it was ideal. It had a very subtle “flick” or duck tail effect and stuck out just the right amount in proportion to the OEM rear bumper. I’d love another, but don’t know where to look. Anyone recall them? Thanks Brett

I was just running up a fluid order and noticed when setting up an account at Opie Oils that they list this club as one of their affiliates. I signed up and found a discount code (300ZX) posted here by Oilman and pleased to say it still works. Just wanted to flag this for other members as I had no idea.

Hi folks, We have a club stand at the BHP show, near Maidstone, this coming bank holiday Monday - details in the thread below.... The club has paid to participate, which includes 5 entry tickets within the price. Our NEO, Tom (TheRealNips) is already going, so that leaves 4 tickets available. Entry on the door is £25; we paid the equivalent of £15 per ticket, so as a gesture to the first 4 (subscribed) members who would like to come along with their Zed, we will give you a free pass!! Yes, FREE - but if you enjoy the show, you might decide to make a discretionary donation to the club..... 😉

As per the title, are new front wings for the Z32 still readily available - genuine or pattern? The bottom parts of mine are rotting away merrily, a common issue I'm sure. Thanks - Andy

Is there anyone on the forum that has a workshop manual wiring diagram for a UK 300 ZX TT (1991). we cannot get the air-conditioning to switch on. We suspect that there is a broken wire somewhere between the dash console and pump. Thanks in advance for any help

I am not too pleased with the garage that has just failed my Z not once but twice! 23 JAN 1st Fail Front track rod ends / rear offside HICAS ball joint With 3 advisories - Drivers seat belt anchorage/ rear nearside HICAS ball joint/ offside rear inner ball joint All nearside & offside HICAS ball joints & front track rod ends changed. Back for MOT not a re-test 30 MAR 2nd Fail! Parking brake efficiency below requirement! No mention of this in the last MOT advisories otherwise I could have got it done! They offered to do it, in 10 days time. Same tester Same garage that has done my past 7 MOTs Peed Off! Sorry rant over

1990 jdm tt, Car was smoking heavily, white maybe a slight hint of blue so replaced head gaskets, stem seals reseated valves but still smoking, its run for about 2 hours since idling to see if smoke would clear. Engines now out again and there is heavy carbon on the exhaust valves particularly 1 and 2, manifold Carboned, the oxygen sensor casting coated in thick sticky oil, and there is oil coating the test pipes. Turbo exhaust side was coated but has cleaned up and it was refurbished so I'm inclined to rule this out. It was all pointing to the new valve stem seals having failed or fitted incorrectly but on removal of valves they seem tight on the valve stem. There's…

Morning All Getting the windscreen replaced soon, and a couple of rust spots in the vicinity sorted. Is everything needed all standard stuff for Autoglass, or do they need to be aware of anything other than the blue tint as its a UK car
