My speedo in my 1993 has been playing up, just the Speedo part, everything else is fine. I’ve bought a replacement set of clocks that I thought were the same (Series 1) but the back is different. I just need to replace the Speedo part, can I remove just that section and drop it in to the existing clocks? First photo are my clocks, the backing is blue but the new ones I bought are green. im trying to attend the AGM on Sunday and need to get it sorted ASAP!

Last Saturday, Julia, The Zed and I took a little trip over to the Isle of Wight for a few days.... The weather wasn't too bad - it only rained as we were leaving..... We got given a good spot on the ferry both ways and our hotel was empty apart from us, so my Zed also had the whole car park to itself 😄 The Zed attracted quite a bit of attention too - when we arrived at Lymington Ferry Port a young lad of about 10, out with his dad, was really taken with the car. He knew exactly what is was and asked if he could take some pictures. Then two guys in the car behind us in the queue got out to admire the Zed. And then when we were parked in Seaview on Monday, a gro…

Recently started doing my 120k and all seals around the car same with gaskets etc etc and just wondering if it IS possible to get the rear main seal aswell as the rod knock sensor wire while the engine is in the car also if anyone has ever changed header gaskets aswell it’s a full project car so a lot of rust LOL let’s hope I can fight through it and save the car also asking if it’s worth rewiring the PTU to the new style connectors instead of having those extra connector things to the main harness

Hi, bit of a long story bit ill try keep it short. 2 years ago I bought my 300 TT. It was in pretty rough shape. I took it to my garage and tried starting it for the first time (parked for 10 years previous). After ripping out the old Clifford alarm and adding new fuel, plugs, oil and battery it fired right up, smooth as butter! Drove nice and boosted no problem. I then went and started the restoration. Car was stripped down to 90% bare shell to fix rust on the floor, roof, sills, and a bit in the engine bay. Full inside out respray was done, and sealed underneath. Engine removed and reinstalled when painting was finished. I put the car back together and was ve…

Hi all, just wanted to take a moment to thank Jimmer for getting my zed back on the road. He did a fantastic job sourcing a donor block and rebuilding bit by bit. All complimented by nismo 740cc injectors, new loom and new cores for turbos. Was a long day driving it back from Bristol to Aberdeen, but well worth it. Very knowledgeable man, would recommend to anyone and will definatelly going back again. Photos to follow tomorrow before everyone starts asking 😂

Hi All, I'm starting to look into speakers and wanted to check sizes. Could someone confirm if the below sizes are correct? - Fronts: 6.5" - Rears: 4" x 6" Mines not a Bose system - I believe they had different speaker sizes. Also has anyone been able to fit tweeters onto the backs of the mirrors? (the trim that covers the fixings for the wing mirrors). I believe AndrewG custom made a trim piece to fit the tweeter into. Has anyone else managed to do this? Thanks.

After 6 months of not giving the ol girl some attention in the garage since the birth of my daughter, I thought its about time I did when I got the message that the wheels I wanted over a year and half ago was coming up for sale if I wanted them. So ofc I found a way to cough up the money! WORK Seeker LX 18×8JJ 18×9JJ Very rare wheel from the turn of the century from Japan. They need work but I'm willing to bring these back to their former glory hopefully in time for summer! 🌞 Also managed to find 1 person selling a centre cap from japan which is a great start! 👍

I have a pair of brand spanking new OEM windscreen washer pumps - they are NLA according to Z1 and CZP in America.....!! But I managed to find them from Amayama in Japan.... £67 delivered 🤩 I wanted to replace both the front and rear washer pumps, but didn't realise they have slightly different wiring connectors. I could have cut and spliced the cables, but Amayama also stock the rear one - it's arriving Tuesday.....😎 I may consider selling the spare front one, if anyone is interested - I say "may" as for the price, I might decide to keep it in my spare Z-parts stash, just in case 😉

On Monday my local garage MOT'd my Zed, replaced the front brake discs and pads, plus an oil service - so with a fresh Nissan filter and a sump filled with Shell's finest, my Zed is all ready for the New Year...... .......So as today is Julia's birthday - and the sun was shining - we took the Zed on a little trip to Waterperry, near Oxford. It was nice to blow the cobwebs out on the M40 there - and ease in the new brakes on the country lanes, on the way home 🙂

Morning Forumites/Zeddites/All (delete as applicable), Am working on something "new" as my previous project did not "pan out". Without giving too much away, what would the recommendations (products and workshops) for undersealing be? Seeing as post 95 models don't have any, I wondered what others had done to address this issue and what they had found by doing so. Virtual coffees supplied for helpful comments! Thanks, PhilD
