Scum total scum
One of the guys I work with is a well known football thug. Lists of convictions against his name. He is always arranging the next meet and always goes out and helps other team supporters out. I think it is disgraceful, after all its only a game. I cant think why anyone gets so passionate about watching football. I loved playing it and still do, got high up at younger levels, but never really been bothered about watching it. Stupid idiots anyway. Dave G

gay
my GF says the same sometimes, but I just call her a granny for going to the bingo, lol. Take the batteries out the remote and see if she can figure out how to fix it. Dave G

N/A vs Skyline GTST
Just checked and insurance would be the same price for me. Doesnt matter anyway, cos I now love the Z!

N/A vs Skyline GTST
Yeah I had a guy take me out in an Evo 8 FQ 260, thought it would impress me  It was quick enough, but still felt that the Z was much better. I didnt realise that the GTS was only 250hp. Maybe I could have insured one after all (tried a few GTRs with crazy prices). I am away to try one now. Dave G

anyone driving past dundee
In the summer the midges are very very irritating where I work, good old avon skin so soft does the trick though. Keeps the mini biters out of the way

N/A vs Skyline GTST
So would a TT beat a GTST? I dont know much about the skylines, just that there are GTS and GTS for the R33.

anyone driving past dundee
I thought I knew Scotland until my company was awarded at Job at Dounreay Nuclear Power Station. The weather up here is unbelievable, in the summer it could be raining everywhere else in the UK, but up there it could be amazingly hot and sunny. The same happens the other way round, great weather in the rest of UK and blistering snow storms and that could be anytime year round. The beaches are like those on tropical islands. As for kilts I have never seen someone where a kilt day in day out until I went to the doctors up here. But wearing a kilt is amazing, no joke, pulling power galore, just ashame my girlfriend is usually there  . Sorry mate, back to the thread, I wish I would be able to fit the Tailgate into the back of the van. Hope you find a way. Dave G

Choices, choices, choices!!
I noticed that most saabs I seen advertised are turbos, reliablility issue?? I do like the look of them and buying a few years old like the Alfa, you can pick up a very nice one for much cheapness. 3 out of the 5 Engineers in my work (me being one of the others) all have GT TDi golfs, driven one of them and liked the inside etc, but his engine wasnt running all that well. The Golf and Audi a4 est 1.9 tdi is top of the list at the moment but it depends when I test drive. Closely followed by Alfa and Saab, and maybe even Volvo. Think I may add a poll thread in and see what everyone thinks

what a waste of money!!
Mines isnt a funny one but probably the best to suit me. G2UAR to go with my surname of GRUAR. One of the guys in my work has J4MES. Bought it years and years ago for couple of hundred quid. Dave G

Axle Stands
Does that mean we could jack it up and turn it around while balancing to fit other parts.

Auto gauge gages
The only difference between psi and bar is the dial. Off the top of my head you get 14.5 psi for 1 bar. But if you had bar guages and wanted to read in psi, all you would have to do is simply replace the guage (assuming its mechanical), the inside of the guage does all the readings the rest of the hoses etc, just allow you to connect into the required hoses.

Car Ramp & Trolley Jack

Choices, choices, choices!!
Its 3 months time or so I will be buying so its a bit too soon for me. Also dont think I will get the MPG off a 2.5 V6. But if I could then thats the car for me. A3 is a good choice, BMW servicing costs etc could put me out. I think the alfa is a good choice, I will be looking at one to soon.

Car Ramp & Trolley Jack
I use 3x2s to drive up but find I need to put one side by side to cover the wide of the wheels. Go for 4x2s and they should be ok. Only thing I found out though was that some twat has jackd the car up and bent the seam (where floor joins body) at where the jacking point is. Just hope I can beat it back out. Unless it happened with a speed bump although the car isnt lowered. Dave G

Choices, choices, choices!!
I am stuck with too many choices. I will be looking to change my 206 for a bigger company car. I get paid an allowance and mileage for the car from my work, but for me to really benefit from it I need to get >35 mpg. But I dont want anything that I struggle to overtake with. So here is what I am looking for: - Something with up to 180 bhp - Must be comfortable and of decent size (at least the size of a golf/focus) - Price Range of up to 12k - Within 6 years old - >35 mpg - Nothing too expensive to run and maintain as I could be up to 30k/year mileage. - Cant be an insurance killer as I am just a baby at 21. Please help me choose a car guys, I have 3 months to decide. Unless I get an NA 300zx with LPG  Dave G

Recircs, Safely Remove?
Kev, I replaced mines with baileys dump valves (£220 al inc). I could give you my old ones if that helps for you, dont think they were making that noise. But I think you would be better getting new dumps Dave G
