Cheers after looking through my stock ones I found that I had Pfr6b-11c already in the car, ill look through for suitability in previous posts. Think it may have been done at the 60k service. I will text John_dps and find out. Looks like I have just save myself £65. Thanks for the help

OK had a bit of problem with the car over the weekend. Thought that the sparks may had been part of it so I went in search of platinum plugs to fit. Couldnt find one correct set for my car so the guy at the counter suggested these to me as a tempt replacement to get it running again: Champion RC6PYP - Double Platinum plugs They are apparently slightly colder than the ones listed for my car. Should I keep using these or change them. If its change them which ones should I use. The car has the following spec to help out. NissTek chip 1.2mm boost jets Apexi Induction kit Baileys BOVs Twin 4" S/S Full System (cat on) TIA, Dave G

Can someone send me pics please for the area around the sender unit for the boost guage. I think I may have got some of the hoses mixed up around there but not sure. Its on the drivers side at the top. Also anyone know a link to a picture of the engine bay which has the labels on it to help people like me :dance: TIA, Dave G

OK another update. Car started again fine like before. Left it running idle for a bit. Put foot down ever so slightly on accel pedal and it drops about 300 revs then starts to go up the rev range. Dont want to take it for a spin again. Anyone else want to confirm it is a PTU before I go order one. Just seen one for sale too. Dave G

Im pretending that the car wont break with the upped boost. And once it goes I will get the manual conversion done. To upgrade the gearbox to handle the power is it just the oil cooler kit?? Dave G

Yeah wont be near the car till 2 weeks from now, so I will just buy the PTU and hope it is that. Thanks, Dave G

Had a few problems yesterday I changed the front wheels and took the Z out round the block to check and see if the wheels had enough clearance and that the calipers fitted inside the wheels etc. So get back to the driveway and the car cut out. It wouldnt restart but it did turn over. After checking my ECU and taking out the boost jets (only did this because it was the only thing that I changed over the weekend) and it still done the same. So reinstalled the new ECU and left the hoses standard. Next on the list was spark plugs, replaced every one of them and it started first time perfectly. Was running for 5 mins at idle let the oil pressure etc drop then I tried to move it again. But again it cut out and wouldnt restart. :cry: I have spoken to a couple of people and they reckon spark plug thingy unit? :confused: Anybody else able to help me. Thanks, Dave G

Thats one of the reasons why I am getting them, but the main being that I will save myself some money for now as I should really be spending it on a house and holiday. Dave G

I dont think my neighbours like it when i leave it running at idle for 2 mins. I know it sounds crazy but my house is a clock of 4 type thing and I park 4 meters away from my living room window. The car is loud as fook and it goes right through the building with its wonderful low barble sound. :rant: I agree it is always a good thing to do and for the space of a few mins each time you aint gonna miss much. :D Dave G

Yeah mines is still on standard boost, it will be getting increased once I have the chip. Not sure on electronic boost controller or boost jets. Dave G

Another thanks thread from me as he has basically saved me from blowing my engine up. After receiving advice from him to upgrade to a suitable ECU chip he said I should do so. After taking it apart I found that it had a "Data Systems - Hiper" chip. This has been reported previously as only suitable for Jap cars running 100 ron fuel. Yes that is good, I have just paid £160 for Avon ZZ3 tyres at 245/45/17 and now find that the alloys (from my old car) wont fit apparently :mad: :rant: but I am sure I will get them to fit. So grab that bargain m8. Dave G
