  1.  :hyper: Thats just another excuse to go out in the car m8.
  2. if you disconnect the battery it just resets the ECU. Doesnt mean that the fault will get fixed. HTH, Dave G
  3. This happens to me whenever I go to a top quality food establishment like McDonalds or KFC. I go through the driver though, order food and drive off with it no worries. Normally we just park someplace in the car park. But you always see other people eating there food so you park miles away to give them some privacy. What annoys me is when I park its out of the way of other people but you always get some :xxx: who decides to park close to you even though there are 300m x 300m of car park still free. Does this just happen to me? :headvswal Rant over  lol Dave G
  4. what speed are you trying this at. I find mines only works between 38-68 mph
  5. Skivvy or Odd Job man?? They might get turned on by the DIY appeal
  6.    bunch of moaning :xxx: anyway LOL
  7. as title really  :headvswal http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-C2-1-1SX-2004_W0QQitemZ4626905593QQcategoryZ18174QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  8. Do an ECU Diagnostic to pin point it. Also lets you see any other faults with your car. http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostic/diagnostic.html HTH, Dave G
  9. Oh forgot to say, the intercoolers arrived ages ago now m8. Top quality. I will fit them in april sometime hopefully before the next meeting. If noone else goes for this Chunk stick me down. But let other people offer first
  10. Dont mention a decent clutch. Ooops too late here he goes.
  11.
  12. Did the docs and nurses in the hospital do funny things to you? :x:
  13. OK I have been told that all you need to do is save the voices onto the root directory called voices on your PDA but I cant find this. I am using Tom Tom Navigator (has a 3 on the box but not sure if it is tomtom3) I run it on a HP iPaq h2210. Anyone else got suggestions. I received the voices from another member of the forum, wont post to save him getting bombarded. TIA, Stupid PDAs, another toy for me to waste my time on. Dave G
  14. I am free on all of the above dates but I imagine that a lot of people will be tied up on easter Sunday
  15. First attempt at a poll thread so bear with me. Looks like I will arrange this meet since ScottyWill is MIA. I guess a Sunday would suit most people. OK poll to see which date suits most people to allow a good turn out. I guess what we should do is arrange the meet at a majority of attendees and get a volunteer from the area to arrange a spot and route for a wee drive. Closing date for this is 4 days from now (4th of April) to allow us to pick a date then move onto a venue etc before we need to meet. Dave G
  16. Forgot to give some plugs. Do a search through the traders forums. There are some newly formed navigation companies within this club like: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=67092 Dave G
  17. A lot of people including myself bought a Road Angel. It does its job pretty well but is way overpriced IMO. I would suggest buying a pocket PC/PDA that you can install TOM TOM 5 onto. This allows navigation and speed cameras. Updates for these type of softwares are £17 per year or £2 for eveytime you want to update. Do a search on ebay for these type of things. I have a HP iPaq h2210 with Tom Tom on it. Only cost me £215 and a road angel is £349.99 new. You do the maths m8. Plus as I am guessing you are a guy, more toys and button are better right? Dave G
  18. Send it over then m8, would save me a lot of hassle. I am just waiting to install all the stuff, if it doesnt work I will just reinstall the older version.
  19. Well if your not fast your last
  20. More info: HERE Dave G
  21.  Remind me of the lasses up here
  22. The chip is just plug and play is long as the ECU is socketed. It is me who is selling the chip, but the reason for selling on ebay.com instead of ebay.co.uk is due to the fact that it will require 100ron fuel as far as I am aware. This has not been confirmed as it was on my car when I bought it but I would suggest if you want to use this chip in the UK, use octane boosters with your fuel. Lots of people do but I couldnt be bothered with it. There are also plenty of other chips you could use, do a search through the forum for JWT or Nisstek (I have on mine)
  23. It does the same as before. Cant get past the activation codes etc.
  24. Dont do a new hole. Feed it through the door and under the drivers side wing. I did that on mine. Just unbolted the wing at the top, and just moved it enough to get the hose through. No need for holes m8, this fits fine. Plus I hate working with bodywork myself
  25. OK my m8 has just installed tom tom 5 onto his PDA. I currently have an older version of this which deleted itself from my SD Card of on my PDA. Is there anyway that I can install his software onto my SD Card/PDA?? TIA, Dave G
