setting for profec B2 with a FMIC
Nice one, forgot you were moving house. You happy to be staying in Dundee instead of the base? I am off too starting the 13th, got rally on 14th at Knockhill. Pressie for christmas. You can come along if you like, get a discount for £99. Its ood cos I dont go back until the 24th but I have my bike test booked on Friday 21st. If you could meet up with me on one of the days I would be well pleased. I will also be fitting the transmission oil cooler while the front bumper is off. Cant wait till all of this is done. You need a hand moving in. If you do I could borrow a van from work.

Sounds like you are pretty much up and running. Myself and Craig will be ready as of the next couple of weeks. Mines is running but need to fix the hoses at the top of the engine that I showed you when we met up. Hope you find the settings you need. I guess 16-16.5 is better than 32psi??

ZX Repair Garage Scotland
You wont get a specialist Z repairist in Scotland. There is talk of a companie starting up in Aberdeen (lahsx on here) but not heard anymore. I think the closest is Zcentre but do a search its been covered before.

Sticky Leccy Mirrors
Is there some way that these can be fixed. When I try to retract them, sometimes they get stuck. Especially the passenger side. If I dont gt any replies it will be WD40 (didnt want to try it last time as I had just washed her :headvswal ). Thanks

Blitz FATT Fitting
So either way the alarm wouldnt set until the timer is finished. Seems a bit pointless to do it I think, I wouldnt leave the car on its on to arm itself. Dont trust electrics enough. Think I will do the same as you then, just make sure I am within distance of it, if it needs to idle. I do have a Jap spec 90 TT but unsure if this adaptor is what I need. I bought it here: Blitz FATT If it is the wrong harness, where could I buy a new one? Thanks, Dave G

April Meet?
OK I take it that Scotty Will is still AWOL. We were planning on meeting in April sometime. If anyone else would like to do another one in April sometime post your name below and we could get one sorted. Once we have a full "whos going" list, we could pick a venue to suit the majority. Since we are missing our events coordinator I suggest that if we get a load of guys from say Edinburgh then we pick that as the location and get one of its local guys to decide on the meet and a drive someplace. What do you guys think? Dave G Ill keep updating: Dundee - Dave G Dundee - Ronnie Dundee - Craig-S Edinburgh - Paul300zx Glasgow - Petrolhead Falkirk - Big Marty

OK mate, I have a few things to check for which could by my prob. Fancy giving the oil plate a go? would be great if I could squeeze that in on the weekend then after that I am almost done. I am off for about 10 days in april for a holiday so I will be doing lessons on the bike 3 hours a day but I will at least find some time to fit the: Upgraded Oil cooler, Trust SMICs Turbo Timer Not to forget the rally course which is booked. PS if you want to come along to it at Knockhill its only £99 to participate as I got a crimbo pressie from the missus to do it. :hyper:

for anyone with leaky targa roof, try this....
Just the tightening. The leak was in exact same point as your also. I was gonna put some of the wee strip in but it was cured without so didnt bother. Still a good idea though if it isnt cured from that. Dave G

for anyone with leaky targa roof, try this....
OK just done the power wash test on the car. Absolutely no leaks no. Time to sell the spare set of targa seals I have now. By the way, check your window for wobblyness. If it is too wobbly take off the panel where the seat belt is (series 1), be careful there is a philips screw located by putting the window down on the outside. Get an 8mm (i think) nut and tighten this up. Sorted both of my sides straight away. Well pleased. Dave G

Intercooler Which Way To Go?
Using the stock front in the corner suits better as there are direct air feeds as standard but if you change your front you should be looking at using the air feeds that are part of the bumper. So if you get one with a huge hole in the middle of it, then FMIC is the way for you as it sounds as you will be going for better looks too. Hope you can decide. Dave

My Zeds home painted at last
Too much red IMO. I like the black. Next on the list Craig is to update the Sig. Get the road tax and rad sorted and we could get out together. Once I get my timing sorted we could even had a manual against auto race (private track of course). Dave G

New Supra, take a look...
That look amazing, good to see proper power cars coming out again, never mind these 2.0 massive turbo cars

crail on sunday???
Yeah Paul I just missed you. Made it just in time and took this one of two of you then you were off. By the way, the guy with the astra has always tuned vauxhalls. His previous was a 1.2 sting totally standard outside. But under the bonnet was a 2.0 16v lump that was highly tuned including nos etc and was getting in the 12s. Must have taken the engine out and stuck it into that shed of an astra. Didnt take mines on, thought I would play it safe. Was good to see some of us out there. But on the whole was a pretty dissapointing day, poor turn out and not many high powered fords compared to previous years. Dave G
