  1. the sender is normally sitting just to the left of the brake servo with a vac pipe going to it, leading from the balance bar and has a 3 wired plug, much like a coil pack or O2 sensor plug connected to it. you maybe lucky and find said plug just sitting there ready to be connected to it ;)
  2. you'll probably find that you will need a boost sender to go with the boost gauge. was the cluster that you took out factory fit?
  3. congrats dude, do you think you'll start another zed project or go on to something else?
  4. will be available for the conversion in the new year if you need someone to do it ;)
  5. fantastic Daffy, this mean you're keeping the old girl now then? ;)
  6. not yet, the due date was the 19th so, got another week yet :D
  7. bit of brut force, a big hammer and a drift should see it pop out nicely :)
  8. did this on my plenum, yes, you're bigh, once the 3 tabs are out the way, the bush can be pressed out
  9. personally, i wouldn't put it anywhere near a TT engine for fear of blocking the turbo oil feeds.
  10. it's one hell of a fantastic zed buddy, here's a couple more pics for you as i was doing the major service on it...
  11. i'm on about the splines, not the length ;)
  12. a manual prop will fit into an auto box but, an auto prop will not fit into a manual box without modification
  13. manual TT prop length (spider to spider) 1st half... 606mm 2nd half... 508mm auto TT prop length (spider to spider) 1st half... 489mm 2nd half... 508mm manual NA prop length (spider to spider) 1st half... 606mm 2nd half... 539mm auto NA prop length (spider to spider) 1st half... 510mm 2nd half... 539mm distance between yokes NA... 71mm TT... 80mm
  14. hummmm, i for one wouldn't want to run 800bhp on a stock rad, stock throttle bodies and no signs of a MAP or AIT sensor which would indicate he's still running a MAF!! definatly see if you can get a dyno sheet off him, i bet you'll never see one ;)
  15. if you like chat rooms why don't you try the orange Z site? there's always someone in there
  16. in which case Rob, if they have said that then, there is no need to
  17. like i said, as long as they are set correctly to open at the desired/optimum pressure for the engines setup, i can't see any reason why they would impede on performance
  18. congrats on the sale dude!! just a shame to see a fantastic zed leave the country
  19. it is possible and there are "how to's" out there the ausi site has a write up. i'm sure someone will put a link up in a bit
  20. anything over 600 and i would say atmospheric valves are a must for eliminating the chances of turbine stall, (just as long as they are set up correctly). the closer to the throttle bodies the better, this will help keep the flow heading in the correct direction.
  21. rob, even though they are brand new, i would still get them cleaned and flow tested. when they store injectors, they are coated to prevent dust/shit getting inside them which in turn can clog. it might be worth sending them off as soon as you get them and then having them sent straight from the cleaning/testing shop to me
  22. cough!! :D i had to do a rewire on his ecu for him ;)
  23. is Andy not charging you any more then Paul?
