  2. fantastic bit of footage!!! love the way it captures your proffesional lightning reactions
  3. now that pic looks familiar!!! eagle rod...
  4. you can do that and take the glass out but, the reason for making a whole new roof pannel is to give the roll cage room to be fitted tight to the door to allow for helmet room. will it be water tight??? i'm not even gona answer that! tut tut :D
  5. not to mention uprated tubs as stock become inefficient after 14psi, then forged bottom end to cope with the power
  6. they specialise in the old 308's and 328's currently running 3 race cars and building another but, the one they are building is a bit special. 308 chassis, dino body and a 360 engine, i'll get some pics of that when i can ;)
  7. bloody hell! trade price? i think not, surely the decimal point is in the wrong place??
  8. na, the roof "I" beam is staying, a single mould will be made to look like both targas so when it's on, it will look stock but, will come off in one piece ;)
  9. got it on the second guess, it's a 308GT, won a few races in it's class as well i rent a section of it, although i have free rein of the whole workshop. kind of looks the same :D i live in Ascot, not too far from trumpton
  10. you're more than welcome to bud :)
  11. no worries at all Daffy, she was a pleasure to work on mate few pics for you...
  12. a compamy called auto cross is doing the roof and cage, if you're intersted in a kevlar roof, let me know. the door handles (inside and out) are still there as well as the locks but, all electrics are gone so, no central locking anymore.
  13. oh yes, big things are on their way ;)
  14. your doors shouldn't have the bars in them, mine are completely empty now and weigh next to nothing
  15. having a full nascar cage welded in, including a one piece kevlar roof ;) all galss is going except front and rear screens and the inner skin of the doors will be cut out.
  16. i don't know the exact weight but, they are bloody heavy. i stripped mine out yesterday, there is so much crap thats in them...
  17. as said, tires and/or geometry
  18. have you tried Livingstone and Warman? i pay £500 a year fully comp with ALL mods declared on a cherished car policy, i'm in my (cough) early thirtys, i have 6 points and 3 years no claims. it covers me to drive any other car with owners permision as well
  19. it doesn't look promising.... http://www.ukphoneinfo.com/search.php?GNG=0800+0124+101&Submit=Submit&d=nl
  20. if it only does it under braking then it sounds like warped discs to me. take the wheels off and spin the discs by hand to see if they run true, if they snag or catch then you know the discs are gone. either that or, god forbid, the calipers are loose :S
  21. whats the torque figures Jim? i would still put money on the zed though
  22. or this one.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-Twinturbo-Manual-SHORT-WHEEL-BASE-FAIRLADY-/180563824471?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a0a714f57
  23. i've never been pulled with my stick on
  24. not to mention 500+ on standard rear tyres, i bet it over heats alot with that stock rad ;)
