  2. like i said dude, connect the servos straight to the plenum with a check in the line, thus deleting the vac tank. if you still have a problem then, it's your servo. if the problem has gone, it's the vac tank or tank lines ;)
  3. no they don't. it travels up the block and sits between the manifold inlets. to get it back in (provided there is no damage to the tube or block, knocking with a rubber or raw hide mallet onto a pair of decent pliers lightly gripping the tube just above the mating flange will ease it back into the hole. be patient and it will re-seat as it is a tight old fit.
  4. as said before in other forums Dan, don't sell the old girl, for a bloke that's not in the auto industry, you have acheived so much. the reward from the finished article will out way any woes you have at present. keep with it buddy, we're all here to help :)

  13. fitting the cylinder is straight forward. it's located on the drivers side of the gearbox just below the starter motor. it's held on by two 14mm bolts so, to remove, just simply undo the two bolts and the cylinder falls off. then, the clutch line is held onto the cylinder via a banjo fitting, (possibly a 14mm banjo bolt, can't remember off the top of my head). so to refit, bolt the new cylinder to the bell housing then reconnect the clutch line. you may have 3 bleed nipples but, you may only have 2 and if you're really lucky, you will only have one ;) if you have 3 nipples, there will be one on the end of the master cylinder, the second will be on the inner wing just behind the drivers head light and the third will be on the slave cylinder itself. bleed the master then the inner wing then the slave. if you have just disconnected the slave and not allowed too much fluid to drain out then, bleeding won't be too hard. HTH
