New Classic Insurance Company for members.
I'm currently with Lancaster Insurance as they were by far the most competitive quote this time round. Hopefully my renewal quote won't be massively hiked up making me shop around like every other company I've been with does!

Top Gear road trip.....
Awesome pics Dave, the car is looking superb and what a great backdrop [emoji106] You forgot to launch one of your t-tops off a cliff though!

OEM Digital Clock cheap "fix" solution
Nice work, blends in perfectly with your gauges [emoji106]

Radiator cross member replacement, day one.
That's true but with this component being a particularly expensive part that was specifically selected as a OEM replacement in an attempt get the best possible quality, I'd be peaved too that not even a small compensation was offered to cover the time/cost of making the component fit for purpose.

my build thread
Very much like [emoji106] Is the plenum powder coated or painted? Looks great and I love the contrast against the black cam covers [emoji41]

Radiator cross member replacement, day one.
I thought the CZP link you put up when you were contemplating buying new was a giveaway regarding the vendor! [emoji13] A real shame that you didn't get anywhere with the claim and also disappointing that Coz hasn't looked after you as I've had all positive dealings with them to date, even when things have gone wrong.

Full re-spray - Recommendations
My recommendations would be Kraftwork in Chelmsford or Custom Exotics in Harlow. Unfortunately neither are even remotely local to you!

Rare parts thread
Does conzult have a test function for this? I have no issues with my A/C but it's a function I've never considered whether it is functional.

Rare parts thread
Have you any idea what it does? (Other than senses sunlight!)

Rare parts thread
Mine has that fitted, I'm not convinced it's a rain sensor though.

tuning and remapping advice
I'd be wary of buying a chip stateside due to the types of fuel used over there. I've also heard good things about Greg, definitely worth getting in contact with if you're going for a custom map.

tuning and remapping advice
Lee Dent can do you a generic chip for your 555s based on your setup and it won't break the bank [emoji106]

What did you do to your zed today?
I have a wheel ready for you if you want to crack on, it's the payment thing that might slow the process down [emoji16]

On the upside, the UK tweed is rather pleasant!

Dash clock backing....
And the size of the 2 outer holes vary with model year.

Harsh ride
8/6 standard.

Black or Body coloured bumper trim?
For reference, the colour that Simon chose and others followed (myself included) is Toyota Magnetic Grey Metallic 1G3. It's a lovely colour and would recommend having it in your shortlist if your bodyshop are making you some sample colour cards.

Black or Body coloured bumper trim?
I'm a fan of the moustache [emoji106]

Which coilovers
The HSD have a more street friendly spring rate, but I would personally want rubber top mounts front and rear.
-
Harsh ride
Not poly, but the Nismo bushings are an upgrade from stock that do not ruin the ride quality.

Vee Eight
Erm... More pics!

Boxhill to Brighton 14th August
There's a big mix up at work for me on this date, currently looking like I won't be available, grrr [emoji34]

Simply japanese 2016!!!
I wouldn't class the Simply event as a "classic show" as it does still attract a large proportion of heavily modified cars, probably not far off the ratio of that seen at JAE. However the crowds visiting are a lot more family orientated due to the venue so I guess that would've had an impact on votes. I also think times are changing with people's tastes and opinions on F&F inspired upgrades. It would've been interesting to see the exact voting results but they wouldn't disclose them, all they would tell me was that there was 1200 cars, 2500 people which is significantly more than previous years. I'm told the NSX is was actually an original RITMO race car and the owner paid 120k for it but I didn't get the chance to speak to the owner to find out.

Is Audi TT better than Z32?
If i had the choice between a TT and a TT, I'd take the TT, sell it and buy a TT (keeping some change for Jimmer, Mike Feeney and Coz!).
