  1. You could try sending this guy a message to see if he sold them as they only ended on Friday: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323561705372 Failing that, I’d start by contacting Driftworks as they’re authorised Work distributors. If they can’t supply them I’m sure they’ll be able to give you the best contact details to find out if you can still get them somewhere. You may have to look into getting them manufactured locally. You could potentially get a few batches made, keep a couple of sets and sell the rest to recoup the costs.
  2. Letting it go shouldn’t be an option, if Graham is too busy or has other commitments that aren’t allowing him to finish this job, he needs to send the parts back? This has gone on plenty long enough now.
  3. Don’t let them rip you off on the insurance payout Tony, I think you can easily prove the value that you paid for the car (at least). It’s not going to find you another Z in the same condition but don’t let them fob you off with a poor payout.
  4. Holy thread revival!
  5. Darren sold it to TranceManDan I think, who fairly recently sold it to Steven Broadbent.
  6. That was almost before I was launched; I was only 6!
  7. Unfortunately not, it tops out at 31mph when being “piloted” and when it’s in tracking mode (locked on to a target to follow), it can only travel at a measly 7mph! It’s only a baby one but it should make for some cool shots and capture some great footage of the trip.
  8. I saw mine for the first time since the NEC today whilst taking my gas and electric meter readings! The CTEK 5.0 was massaging away at the car keeping it ready for action! I was googling some later this evening and randomly stumbled across this: http://www.perfect-touch.co.uk/nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-manual-health-check-disc-skim/ [emoji41]
  9. Richard, you can not walk away from this until we see pics! Make it happen!
  10. Looks like we have another Simon brewing!
  11. Are you getting the 2.5” pipe work Simon?
  12. Or just get the right clamps from Nissan, fit and forget!
  13. If you replace them all Pete, I would advise using the maintenance free spring style clamps that Nissan switched to in the later models. They will flex with the expansion of the hoses during heat cycles and not cause the rubber hose to deteriorate.
  14. Expecting pictures tomorrow Richard. When do the new wheels go on?
  15. Why would you not bleed from there? I may have skipped it once or twice for a routine fluid flush, but I usually bleed from there and especially if I have broken into the system anywhere.
  16. Looking forward to using this old girl on the trip...
  17. I too would leave it how it is, a stock bodied Z32 looks lovely in my opinion, although I would probably swap out the wheels for something else. That said, it’s your car buddy so if there’s something out there that you like, go for it.
  18. Happy Birthday Sir [emoji482]
  19. Welcome to the family dude. I’m sure you’re aware that your car appeared in a recent episode of top gear? [emoji41] Great to see you’re investing in preventative maintenance to keep the underside tip top, it’s an area that’s often overlooked as it bares no “visual rewards”! Look forward to meeting you a Japfest next year, it should be a well attended meet from the club in 2019 with the 30th anniversary shenanigans!
  20. Andrew, you need to get a build thread going that we can follow. [emoji41] I have no idea where Z1 get those fan and coupling combos from but they sell them for peanuts relative to the Nissan prices and all the other sources. When I purchased mine I had to double check that they were actually Nissan parts! There was some speculation that the coupling was being sourced from elsewhere but I have that kit and the quality is OEM in my opinion.
  21. Belated Birthday wishes Jay [emoji41]

Craig, I'm assuming you've had confirmation from Paul?
