  1. Wow, that's changed a lot. Looks awesome Do you want to come to the SE end of year meet? Love to see it in person
  2. When you swapped the spark plug and coil, did you check if there is a spark coming to them?
  3. Joely and I had a think about it, maybe if there is enough interest within the club we could collectively contribute, but for a nice one with good stabilisation and image quality they are quite expensive. Sub £100 drones are completely useless for taking pictures/videos as the image quality and stability is terrible. Might be best to hire one for the day or something.
  4. In honesty I have a few jobs under the dash that need doing anyway, and it's really not that hard so it just makes sense. Honestly though, there is no need to go all Frankenstein because you disagree. Just say what you just said instead of complaining about guides online. I use whatever advice I can get.
  5. Oi! Using a guide recommended by the club from twinturbo.net not from bob in his underground shed. Stephen even just said it is much easier lol. I think I'll take my chances. If you want a read of it here:
  6. Yeah that's what I read in a guide I read. If you don't remove the dash you'll spend just as long trying to put it in than if you had done. Also plan to route the boost controller and clean up some wiring so will help me in that way too. Other than remove the dash's of both cars, and attempt to try and take the gearbox out, anything else should I do to prep (within reason)? And when I know when you're going to come down, I will collect a list of things such as oil etc to buy. I think I will keep the clutch that's in there for now as i can't splash out that money, if its ruined well then I can swap it some other time.
  7. Interior almost done, ready to gut it and need to get to jacking it up to start getting the gearbox and rear subframe out... in freezing october temperatures
  8. I'm going silver now so I've got to see which silver I like best. Are you going stock Z silver Andy?
  9. Fair enough. I joined in 2015 so I only saw last year's NEC.

Damn he was hyped. Great stuff and sounds awesome, sounds a bit like my exhaust.
  11. Talking about it, why don't you lend your car for the task, zebedee is a unique unicorn. How many cars have we been allocated this year? And does it have to be OEM+? I like Keith's Impul kit and its not far off the standard IMO.
  12. Yeah even I had to edit my comment too, £390!!! Even Nissan can't get that! But at checkout it becomes more like £570.
  13. Perhaps that was bad wording on my part. You said 'the chap before me claimed it was running 400' I think the manual box that's going in it will make it seem faster, at last more responsive as the auto box(s) were slipping lots. After that all I'm going to install is the boost controller and up boost to 9-12-14, whatever I can do say without leaning out. So something like 330whp? In a way I want to see how much I can make with the current setup, but will install a wideband first, the last thing I want is to go blowing stuff up.
  14. Tbh, I am impressed. But shipping and tax is a bitch.
  15. It's not ghastly, just unpleasant. Honestly it's not that bad, just introduce yourself in the newbs section. Where you thinking of ordering that 99spec bumper from...?
  16. Unfortunately there are countless cheap fibreglass crap bumpers of that style. That looks like one of worse ones out there lol. But yeah stick a thread up, excluding the puffy bumper, it looks like a pretty nice car overall. Shame it's parked next to a slow Renault to the left
  17. Respray front bumper could cost about £100 (or more depending on the shop), so compared to touch up paint yes but you will never get a seamless finish with touch up paint. This is a pentroof
  18. The paint code will be on the VIN plate in the engine bay, but its a 20 year old car so the paint would have faded. Don't know if the results would be any good, you can have a go but imo if it bad enough, respray the panel, if you can live with it leave it. Got any pictures of your car? And welcome to the club Subscribed already wow!
  19. s*** Other than reliability what is wrong with the S1 ptu? My car was sold as '400hp' which is just a load of *****cks, just with the decat, intercoolers and the ecu I reckon i could get close. But don't really want to until i see what injectors its got in it.
  20. Just slap the stock injectors in and get Lee or Jimmer on the phone and walk you through how to plug everything in. I think you just need it running at this point, for your sanity...
