Recently purchased a Z, has some stone chips here and there, but would like to get a couple sorted out. Am sure some of you will have a touch up kit

Does anybody know of a kit with a good colour match?

 

Car is Red from 1995, I understand that will be Ultra Red AJ4?

 

Are the TouchUpDirect kits a good match?

The paint code will be on the VIN plate in the engine bay, but its a 20 year old car so the paint would have faded. Don't know if the results would be any good, you can have a go but imo if it bad enough, respray the panel, if you can live with it leave it.

Thanks, respraying sound expensive! May buy a kit and test on the front bumper as I intend to replace it with the 99 Spec.

Think the car has a Pentroof front bumper on, so doesn't look too good. Might be another bumper though, can't find any pics online.

Respray front bumper could cost about £100 (or more depending on the shop), so compared to touch up paint yes but you will never get a seamless finish with touch up paint.

Ah, I see, the listing said it had a greddy bumper, but it looks nothing like any I can find pics of.

It has the square middle intake section but also a side vent with mesh infront of each wheel. Might make a separate thread to see if anyone can identify it.

Unfortunately there are countless cheap fibreglass crap bumpers of that style. That looks like one of worse ones out there lol.

But yeah stick a thread up, excluding the puffy bumper, it looks like a pretty nice car overall.

 

Shame it's parked next to a slow Renault to the left :lol:

It's not ghastly, just unpleasant. Honestly it's not that bad, just introduce yourself in the newbs section.

You may want to go back and double check that, don't forget that Z centre prices are exclusive of vat. So that price on the site is +20%.

Yeah even I had to edit my comment too, £390!!! Even Nissan can't get that! But at checkout it becomes more like £570.
