  1. I reckon that must have been 4 Paul.
  2. I'm up for this, it sounds a good weekend, well I think I would extend it for a few more days and make an Autumn break out of it.
  3. The problem you will have is that weighbridges are usually official and only work Mondays to Friday
  4. Should this be transfered to the South West Region section ?
  5. Does this include the driver ?
  6. I would Paul but the antique camera is playing up, and I have been approached by the Antiques Roadshow, it's on tha same day as the dyno. ;)
  7. Something you should all think about is running costs afterwards. I have not gone mad on mine, Wiseco pistons, and uprated Z1 turbos and retained the standard injectors, and my ECU is some fancy Jap Racing thingy, but last weekends run down to the meet at Princetown on Dartmoor was an eye opener. I filled up in Bristol and drove down to Dartmoor and then had to fill up again at Exeter to get home. You are probably talking about 15 mpg on a run, and that;s with an engine totally refurbished and put on Conzult to verify the settings and running absolutely superb. Mind you I don't hang about but beware of getting more power and sacrificing affordable running costs.
  8. What does it say in the log book about when it was first registered in this country. It sounds like it is an early one and probably suffered badly from the salt, after all import vehicles do not get the same underbody protection as a UK vehicle.
  9. Put me down, perhaps the car will surprise me.
  10. Sadly, yes.
  11. A simplified form is remove wheel, remove rubber plug from drum. use light to locate adjuster, wind up with a flat blade scerwdriver until wheel is locked (does not rotate). Inside car at base of handbrake, adjust slag from cable. back to the rear wheel and let off adjuster until drum spins freely. Repeat on other side.
  12. Jimmer has put 350Z track rotors on his car and the braking is phenominal. You can pick them up on American Ebay for about $450 including shipping. PM him Shrek.

Is there something wrong with the site, its deleting threads. No its not they are in Retros thread. :p
  14. Well, the car is now sorted. The HKS F-CON unit was piggy backed but the R-VIC is hardwired along with the SAFC. I disconnected the F-CON and the car is running great. Jimmer put it on the Conzult and was able to check and make adjustments. On a downside, I rang Owen Developements who have worked on this car a lot, and kept getting an answering machine, so I emailed them and so did Jimmer. That was over a week ago and no response whatsoever. To me that speaks for itself.
  15. That is damn cheap. I looked at that earler and thought it would make at £2500 ish.

More importantly, do you know how to get to the pub?

Motorway services on the M5, the next one along from Gordano.

See you at the services Paul, 11 ish.

I have a black one. See you at 10.30 ish. ;)

Yep. What time and where. I'm up for this as the car is running superb. A bit of mileage will do her good. Gordano services ? or wherever, I'm easy.
  21. It is a large area and under the current climate of high fuel costs, travelling too far for a meet will obviously cause concern, but surely people don't just want to drive their cars around their local towns and cities. The joy of a Zed is driving it on the open roads and feeling the power. Most meets are on Sundays so time and traffic are more relaxed. Personnally, I like travelling and seeing other counties. Your doing a top job Lisa.!!
  22. I used to have 285/30's on mine and the ride is as hard as nails. I switched to 285/35's and it is great. No problems at all.
  23. Any one else on here have this fitted to their car. ? My battery has been off for about 2 months and now when started runs rich and like sh?t. I also have the SAFC fitted, would this perhaps dump all the settings if not powered for that period of time. The handbook gives dire warnings about death and dispair if this is setup wrong. I'm already in dispair so now only death scares me. The other problem is that Consult does not work properly either with this fitted as the F-CON ECU ignores any commands coming from the Consult such as in the power balance test. HELP.
  24. You will need a new spigot bush that fits in the crankshaft as the manual box spigot shaft is different from the auto box, and flywheel bolts as the torque converter bolts are also different. Also the rubber boots around the gearlever are attached to a metal plate which screws up into the centre console with 4 screws.
  25. Well, tonight was a good night. An engine appeared out of the back of Jimmers van, and got put in the hole. Tomorrow.......broooom, broooom. I can't wait. What a brilliant day. :hyper:
