  1. I did not see you at any club events mate, and I certainly would not have missed your car. You going to Japfest this year, hopefully my car will be back on the road after getting a dodgey turbo from Z1, and they did not want to replace it. But all will be revealed later after Jimmer has sorted it.
  2. Blimey mate, how unfortunate. You do seem to keep attracting these blokes lol,
  3. Paul could not get any interest in a Bristol rolling road day, what chance for Surrey Lisa !
  4. I think seats and spoiler probably gives an indication but also airbag if fitted.
  5. Look forward to seeing that emaculate motor again Si. The last time I seen it on the road was a couple of years ago when Jimmer did some work on it.
  6. Leaving the club then mate are you, or just back to a 2+2:x:
  7. Machine Mart do a beauty, aluminium and only about 80 quid (cant do a pound sign here in Madeira). I got side skirts as well and even the scissor jack is useless.
  8. Blimey James (Jimmer), if nickz32 turns up that will scare the pants out of the neighbours.
  9. Following someone like oldmanzed. You were lucky I was running in and kept it below @40.
  10. You will Pete, believe me. !!!!!:)
  11. That's the way to do it.!:smash:
  12. I have spent quite a lot of money with Z1motorsport including turbos. One of the turbos has failed after 450 miles and the response is not what you want to hear. They first told me that the turbos have not failed but the oil feed pipes (purchased from them) needed modifying, .i.e. brazing up and a specific size hole drilled in it. They then put me on to their turbo man and he was adimant that the oil feed was the problem. When I mentioned that the pipes were also purchased from them as part of the kit, and why were they not modified to suit the turbos, they then changed track. They have now sent me a CHRA (a turbo core) which entails the engine being taken out again once again, at my expense to be replaced. Be warned, your warranty is not worth nothing when it goes wrong from this company, they squirmed like a worm on a hook to get out of accepting that their item could have failed. I am not impressed to say the least.
  13. Works for me toooooooooooooo, but I just like driving the car anyway....anywhere come to that. They have nicer seasides down south too !.:smash:
  14. Does not mention a rolling road readout ? If you owned this surely you would want the 550 bhp confirmed. Any one buying will, surely.
  15. It's not even a series 2.
  16. :rofl::rofl::rofl:
  17. Your tapping is probably due to a sludged up lifter and I have seen mentioned on here that you can buy an additive which rectifies it from halfrauds. I have not used it myself but it seems to be regularly recommended. Oil pressure is down to the condition of your engine and your oil. According to mileage which obviously equals wear, your oil pressure can vary on tick over when hot from about 25 psi to about 60. When cold mine goes off the clock and thats on a proper gauge. For oil, contact the oilman on here, he sells some cracking stuff, view his website oilman.co.uk
  18. How long has it been stood for. You will get moisture build up in the exhaust system which will take some time to burn off, especially if the engine does not get fully up to normal working temperature which can only be achieved by driving it for some distance. If you can, I would take it out for a decent run and have a look then, if it still persists, you should certainly be concerned.
  19. This could be down to a couple of things. Firstly the fuel pump fuse which is at the back of the engine bay under a cover in the lefthand corner. Remove cover and the fuse is the last one on the right. Obviously swap or replace to try this out. Next test the pump directly by fixing up a direct feed to it. Forget all the sh@t about explosions, but make sure to get the pos and neg round the right way. Just touch the power to it. It will either go or not as simple as that. If it does go then it could be the fuel pump ECU which adjacent the rear seat on the passenger side. You will have to take the side panel off to get to it. Quite rare for these to pack up. Jeff at Zedworld can supply one 2ndhand. But firstly check the lead to the pump to see if it is getting power when turning the engine over. You will need a meter to check this. If no power then possible fuel pump ECU fault. There is also a relay somewhere in the line, which if my memory serves me right is down on the drivers side footwell adjacent the fuses. Once again a strip out job for the interior panels around the fues box.
  20. It most certainly is.:hyper: The pads were not included but shown to relate the disc size.
  21. Discs (13"), spacer piece + bolts to move caliper out, new wheel studs and alignment rings. The instructions are superb and include how to heat treat the front discs to relieve built in stresses before giving them what for on the track. I will put a picture up later.
  22. This one was sold on Ebay a couple of weeks ago for £1500 by the same guy, it then went for £1660 (approx) and now its back on with a starting price of £1995. Either it sold and the buyer jacked out on seeing it in the raw, or the buyer got a mate to bid on it to run the price up. Either way he is having trouble selling and it's a 1996 as well, still cheap even for an NA.
  23. I very much doubt it as it is quite a tight fit. Z1 are doing a complete conversion kit for 13" discs all in for $349 plus postage. I have just received mine....ace.
  24. Does it hum a tune as well
