Well this fell on its ass very quick. I dont fancy any REO chances for getting much support when people cannot even be bothered to fill this out. Mind you its about par for the course around here, all mouth but no action.

Surely it would be better to find somewhere just of the M5 so that it is easy for everyone to get to. You start going inland like Bath, Keynsham etc., although it will suit some members, it will be a pain for others, especially the Glos lot. I have to say since splitting, what happened to Gruntpa, Whitezed ect., a bit of a deadly silence now. I thought that now they have what they wanted, they would be up for everything and very pro active.

I have 245 fronts and they are stretched over the rim. I am reluctant to go any bigger. I have 285 rears, but my rims are 9J fronts and 10J rears. I do not get any problems with the steering or rubbing.

The fan and the viscous coupling are quite a big lump of metal, and if that was left loose or not sat down properly on the pump mounting face, yes it would knock the pump bearings out.

Unless you got a really big offset on your wheels then spacers will be required, just how big and how safe is another matter. I have got 18 inch Advans and they fitted no trouble without spacers.

Bath is not a bad venue, with a choice of the Boat House pub next to the park and ride, or even the Globe which has a fairly big carpark, still quite a hike for the Somerset and Gloucester lads tho.

As previously stated, no cars allowed in the Court now. between the original entrance and the pub they have installed a carpark and thats it, same at other entrances, they all have carparks now so no access to grass by vehicles.

You can forget Ashton Court for any future meets, cars are no longer allowed in to the grounds, they have installed new carparks, free atm but I bet they will install meters.

Precisely. Too many people expecting freeby repairs. Who gets priority, members or non members. These cars are not bread & butter mechanics and can be temperamental. What happens if after a quick tweak it wont start, or runs like a one legged chicken. recriminations. I would certainly go along with a Conzult day, perhaps in conjunction with a rolling road day, but defo locally as numbers could get out of hand.

Just as an aside, how many members do we have in the new area that could be the REO.

The reason that Alan (Gruntpa) cant be REO is because he is also only a registered user. (If my old memory serves me right)

I was sorry to miss this one but I am currently in the Canaries, which when I watch the weather for home, I glad I am. I would definitely be interested in more track days and will be at Japfest too. Jimmer has fixed the car but more on that when I get home. Oh and by the way, well done Dave, it looks like it was a cracking day mate.

Well, here we go then, a new beginning, is it going to be the same old lethargy. just how many Zed owners are there in this new region. I say owners as that will then include registered users as well as club members. Judging by activity over the last 12 months, I bet its less than a dozen.
