  1. When Jimmer rebuilt his car with Wiseco Pistons, 555's etc., it's first real outing was to the dyno day at TSW in Bridgwater. His results are in the Dyno section on here and definitley no problem since. He has carried out a few more upgrades and will be present at the dyno day on the 28th, hopefully with his Conzult.
  2. When I had a key cut locally it also worked but had some strange 'side effects'. On comparing the old with the new, I noticed that the grooves that go the full length of the key were a slightly different width. I have now bought some genuine Nissan blanks and will get them cut accordingly.
  3. You certainly do not want swarf left behind in the manifold. The clearance between the turbo impellor and the casing is minute and would definitely damage the impellor if they met. I would try a vacuum cleaner with a piece of small bore rubber pipe gaffer taped to it. If you also put a thin cloth (hankerchief) between the vacuum pipe and the bag, you can also check and see what you have managed to suck out.
  4. I have sold it now Murt and got the black one, but it was a blue like yours which is slightly metallically. Sadly although in the photos it looks nice, it had obviously seen a bit of action and also required a full respray including a new rear spoiler.
  5. Utter drivel perpetrated by overpaid personallities trying to get a headline.
  6. How did this come about ??? with this in mind I suspect it's the reason why you have not received any response as any further mod could potentially cause damage to your wiring loom.
  7. Obviously not Dave, I think most are on the South coast. Are we going back to 4 cylinders Dave ?
  8. That was before I had a beer too !
  9. Typical of Porshe, after being dried out it started first pull.
  10. You can do better than that Murt....here is my old Zed, same colour.
  11. They had to lower the level of a lake in Germany to repair some sleuse gates and a Porsche popped up, obviously been in for some time. It had either been stolen or dumped, police are investigating.
  12. Just been shipped in to Las Vegas, a special order Lambo.
  13. Blimey that brings back memories, I had one of them in 1991, with the 'pull up ariel'. I gave mine to one of my grandsons who I think used it as a hammer.
  14. Your suppose to leave the torque convertor attached to the gearbox as you MAY have trouble putting the gearbox box back into it especially if the splines move inside. When you have taken it off the engine, without twisting or turning, push it gently back onto the gearbox shaft. Good luck.
  15. Si is a very polite person and likes to let people know when he's arriving, so that you can make the appropriate arrangements, i.e., Dagenham Girl Pipers lol ?
  16. Why have we gone back to the South West again ????? or is this a Marcusism.
  17. What's this rubbish about 'Southwest REO' Marcus in your Avatar.:nono: are you living in the past on another forum.
  18. Si obviously brought Maddie then.....
  19. More likely to be Maddie they are admiring. :)
  20. If I were you I would pm MAC1, his motor is pushing out serious bhp and I don't think he has had any problems with engine mounts, and I do not think he wet nurses it.
  21. Contact Paul at SWZ, I think he sells all the bits as a kit and normally has them in stock.
  22. Cracking Si, so true.:)
