  1. Which part of are they Marcus.?
  2. Try Super Glue 2 pack. It will stick anything to everything.
  3. Sounds like a blockage to me. I would be tempted to put some sort of flushing additive in the water and get it really warm and circulated, leave overnight and then give the system a good flushing. Also I know its a bit tight at the back of the engine where the heater pipes connect to the engine but make sure they are not kinked anywhere, and if the heater still does work after flushing, take both pipes off the engine connections, and flush using a hose pipe, obviously not too fiercely and see if you have a good flow through.
  4. Take it to Pro Tyre at the back of Lawrence Hill Marcus, they are excellent and you actually watch them do it. They have a fab bit of kit and the car feels totally different afterwards.
  5. Just PM the mistro, he will always pogram you in. He just loves Zd's and his own car is just briliant. To drive is a joy to rant is frightening. If my car is half as good as his....................Il will need a pacemaker. It absolutely fly's. ;)
  6. Nothing. he's my offspring.
  7. It looks great on the bench Dave but of course you don't see much of it when it's in and it does not stay that way for long. Can't wait to be driven it although the weather is a bit grim currently.
  8. Only the tubs left now and it can go back in the hole. They have turned up via TNT so it is just the fitting to do. That sounds a bit flipant doesn't it especially as I will not be doing it.

16th March say, that would give everyone chance to see this posting. I'm easy on dates but it would be nicer in the Zed so this weekend is out and possibly next weekend.

I would be up for a get together especially as I shall hopefully have the Zed back on the road. How about North Devon, places like Ilfracombe or Combe Martin, Porlock. It would need someone with local knowledge to find a pub that could accommodate the cars and us for some grub. Or Exmoor of Dartmoor but once again we need someone who knows the area.
  13. Some of the lookalike front mounts have rough surfaces on the inlet and outlet pipes and it may pay you to take the hoses back off and stick some silicone poop on first before fitting them back on to seal them.
  14. No, the pic is of the internal car loom not the engine loom which only goes to the ECU inside the car.
  15. I'll hold you to that Dave. Jimmer did his and because the looms are from the US which have a different spec of vehicle, he had to add wiring to it for his TT. It is certainly not straightforward but the look afterwards is stunning. I wish I had his patients.
  16. American Ebay is the cheapest. The real McCoys cost a fortune.
  17. Well, it was once again visiting hours today and the patient is looking much better, which is more than I can say for Jimmer. Apparenly the lash marks are bleeding real bad these days but I am his Dad and I can get away with it, just !! I am beginning to get excited NOW............
  18. What a guy and he is absolutely right. What a piss take when large companies think that with money they can just steam roller everthing to suit their requirements. I'm embarrassed now as I own both 300 Z and a Laguna. I can hardly go round with a bumper sticker on them can I ?.
  19. Dazzer21 is breaking a short wheelbase TT at the moment. I believe he still has the doors. PM him.
  20. A bit more than impressed I would say. He keeps trying to pursued himself and his missus that a pair of GT600's would be a very good investment.
  21. Here you go....., Scotswood Crescent, LEICESTER, LE2 9QB
  22. He's talking dirty now Glenn, saying things like 'I want to drop it back in the hole this weekend'.......foooook me I could be driving it again next week, I might put 'L' plates on it or should it be a 'P' plate. Mind you the MoT is due soon so more expense.
  23. I have driven Jimmers with GT525's and they are just fantastic and spool up superbly. Of course he has also got 555's injectors and polished stainless downpipes. The car just pulls and pulls, its just like taking off in aeroplane. It's very quick and the way it keeps pulling iis phenominal. GT525's get my vote especially bought from Z1 motorsport, they are still cheap due to the Dollar.
  24. I would be tempted to disconnect the det sensor via the plug at the back of the engine and see if there is any difference, that way you would then feel the difference between a working sensor and a non working sensor for future reference.
  25. It sounds as though your knock sensor has gone down or has a dirty connection. I would be tempted to do an ECU check first and see what error code if any comes up. A code 34 would confirm the knock sensor, which as previously stated could just be a wiring problem or a failed sensor. They are not fitted in an accessible area being underneath the fuel rail manifold, so you can either leave the old one as is and remount a new on elsewhere or fitted a shorting resistor (Maplins about 18p) in the knock sensor socket. Do search on here and and all will be revealed.
