Typical EU
I think there should be a second referendum, but only the people who voted in the first and those who have come of age since should be allowed to vote. If you couldn't be arsed the first time then in my opinion you've lost the right to moan about it

What is it you need to order? Does it need to be a manual VIN? I've had problems before with a JDM VIN but give them a UK VIN and all of a sudden it all works

300zx Owners handbook /manual
Hi Guys I've had a PM on this making an offer and I'm not sure to be honest I don't want to be greedy or rip any one off. I would really appreciate any thoughts as to how much this is worth as I think it might be a bit rare in this condition. Thanks

The Bandit has gone
A massively under rated actor in my opinion. Deliverance is and always will be an incredibly powerful movie. He was a man who could turn his hand to any genre if he chose to. But by far and away the best thing he ever said was- "I had more fun than anyone else!" And just imagine if he had accepted the James Bond offer or the Han Solo offer. R.I.P Burt

Home Page for the 300zx Owners Club
Thread of the week

What do you want for us to enable you to subscribe ?
Can I suggest a simple thing. There are some awesome and incredibly interesting historic build threads on here and I love reading them, but they seem to go into hiding quite quickly. How about a thread of the week, nominated by anyone and posted on the front page for that week. Nostalgic maybe, but its something for people like me to get their teeth into rather than just logging on reading a couple of comments and logging off again. And it would encourage return visits to see what the next one is.

As a man famous for my sideways thinking / never did what I was told when I worked for other people, here's a quick thought for you. We can't be the only forum that's dwindling in numbers, we might be the only ones being honest about it, but it is definitely happening elsewhere as well. Would it be possible to link with other clubs, so your membership fee is still paid to your primary club, but your log in would then give you access to their club as well. Maybe have a different tier where you don't quite get everything. So you stick with your primary club. Obviously fees would have to be standardised across the participating forums ( so people don't sign with one because its cheaper), but that would immediately give you significantly more value for money for no further outlay. Most of us are car nuts not just Zed nuts I think. I appreciate I'm just kicking an idea around and it may not be possible, but you never know.

Becoming a sole trader
I've run my own business since 2006, I had 3 years where I had a PAYE job as well and it's very hard to start off with. However fast forward a few years and I am happier than I've ever been and I don't ever want to work for someone else again. A few pieces of advice for whatever its worth. 1 A good accountant should save you 3 to 4 times what they cost you - get yourself a good accountant! 2 It's far better to regret doing something than to regret not doing it. 3 The first few years are the hardest, but I looked at it this way. Imagine someone said you are going to prison for 3 years and in that time you will have minimal contact with your real life, family and friends. However when you come out after those 3 years you'll never have to work for anyone again and you'll be better off than you ever have been. Would you surrender those 3 years to make the rest of your life infinitely better? I worked all the hours for 3 years everyone said I was mad, but I promised myself if it didn't work after 3 years I would drop and return to real life. It did work and you'd be surprised how many of the "you're mad" comments have turned to "I wish I'd done what you did" 4 One of my life Mantras (which to be fair I stole from a film) is "What one man can do, another can to!" 5 Years ago a friend of mine who is a good old Suffolk boy ( baler twine for a belt etc) looked at me when I said I'd love to have a place like his (26 acres, huge house, fishing lake, paddocks the whole 9 yards) quite simply said " Make it happen Boy". I'm not quite there yet, but the fact of the matter is there are 2 types of people in the world when it comes to this sort of thing. Those who look forward and do, and those who look back and wish. 6 Talk to as many people as you can at all stages as someone will always have come across your current problem before My advice to anybody looking to go out on their own will always be "go for it" and I hope you do bud and I hope it changes your life like it changed mine. No particular order, just my thoughts and amazingly sensible for me - best of luck in whatever you choose to do mate.

Selling up!
Mate, I've read your posts about the car and I truly feel for you. It's horrible building yourself up to something then having it all pulled out from under you. For what it's worth this is my opinion. Sell the car by all means, but take a deep breath and hang on to the parts for a little bit longer. Selling everything while its still raw you run the risk of making a massive loss on the parts and then having sellers remorse in a few weeks when it's calmed down emotionally. The guys on here are all pretty decent and would, I reckon say the same thing, but also shove a bargain in front of us and someone will take it.
